We loved this tour and the folks who ran it. I booked this for my daughter and her husband who were visiting us from Ottawa. My a son in-law had never fished before and wanted to fish in the "sea" and maybe see a whale or a seal. My wife was worried about everything "is the boat safe", "is there a place to sit because she doesn't fish","is the boat really small" and more. I let her know everything would be fine but she was still worried. At 7:40AM My wife, daughter (who is a vegan and will not fish) my son in-law showed up to go out on the boat. The first thing you see is how clean the boat is and how very friendly the Captain and his daughter were! There are nice benches for everyone to sit on and the Captain went over the safety information and the use of life jackets etc. He showed us the very clean wash room and let folks know if they felt sick they should do it over the side of the boat and not to be worried because it will attract fish.:-). The Captain first took us on a toir of lunenburg from the water with great facts and interesting stories about everything from want is a was filmed in the lunenburg to the history of the buildings, companies and other very interesting facts with the skill of a great story teller! Then we went out to fish. It was a fantastic experience for all of us even my wife and daughter. Everyone (we had 10 on the boat) caught fish and we all in the end caught a number of fish we would keep. We were out for a full 3.5 hours and on the way back to the harbor they fileted all the fish that were caught and put then in a zip lock bag! My wife is already saying she wants to go again and my daughter and son in-law are planing on coming again to do this!!!! Wow if you want the time of your life and spend 4hours you will never forget you need to...

This was the highlight of our trip to NS. I went with my brother and our two 9 year old boys. We were worried we wouldn't catch much since we went out in the afternoon of a hot day, but Captain Bill has a good eye for the spots and he moves the boat if the fishing isn't good. Captain Bill is very friendly and tells you all about the port of Lunenburg.

This was an especially cool tour for Locke and Key fans, as I am.

Emily was incredible as well. If you are lucky enough to catch the right size, she will fillet your fish for you before you get back. She is also really helpful in landing and unhooking. Luckily, we caught a nice big cod to take home for dinner and our two families all got enough to try it. I caught a Pollock that was just an inch too small.

Everyone on the boat caught something even if they weren't the right size. Someone at the stern caught a cod that was too big! Another person landed two keeper cods at once! He had a hard time reeling in. Mackerel are definitely the most common fish. They are beautiful even when they aren't big enough to keep.

For sea sickness, we took Gravol chewable just in case before getting on the boat. The boys had anti nausea wrist bands, which seemed to work. I think we had a great whether day, but there are swells that I am sure could make you nauseous.

The highlight of the trip was the Sea Raven my son caught who bit on to a Mackerel.

I can't wait to go back! Thanks...

Amazing Deep Sea Fishing Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of going on a deep sea fishing tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch.

We were fortunate to catch a variety of fish, including mackerel, herring, pollock, and cod. The crew was knowledgeable and provided helpful tips to ensure everyone had a great time and successful catches. The equipment was well-maintained, and safety protocols were followed, making the entire trip enjoyable and worry-free.

One of the highlights of the tour was the unexpected yet delightful encounters with marine wildlife. We were thrilled to see a whale and a porpoise during our trip, which added a nice touch to the day. The crew was just as excited as we were and ensured that we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and admire these beauties.

Overall, this deep sea fishing tour exceeded my expectations. The crewโ€™s expertise, the abundance of fish, and the bonus of seeing marine wildlife made for a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure...

This was the highlight of our Nova Scotian trip with my mother-in-law from Germany. Bill and Emily were great guides and made the whole experience fun and easy. It was my first time fishing ever and I had a blast. We caught a bunch of mackerel and my mother-in-law even caught a cod. The boat caught a bunch of pollock and cod and we were all able to take the mackerel home. Emily provided A+ service and cleaned and filleted the fish for us. We brought a small cooler to keep the fish in. My husband and I aren't into touristy shit. This was an experience I'd want even if I was a local (and there were a bunch of locals onboard). Best part was grilling our catch in the evening at our airbnb. You also get a great view of Lunenburg and get to enjoy the day out on the water. We were also lucky enough to spot an eagle and a bunch of porpoises in the distance. Bring some food and bevvies. There's a washroom on the boat. Wear extra layers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. (Note: we were lucky to have perfect weather that day).
