Homemade icecream and fudge on a hot day? Not gonna pass up on that! We were walking the streets of Lunenburg, and decided it would be 10x better with icecream in hand so stopped by Sweet Treasures. I got a double scoop cup of orange chocolate and peanut butter eureka, while my wife got a single scoop waffle cone with pistachio. The flavours are distinct, and the icecream is good though a bit on the icey side (there were times it felt almost like a popsicle). Prices are reasonable, people are friendly. While not the ultimate reward at the end of a treasure map, Sweet Treasures is a worthy stop along the way.

Sweet Treasures Confectionery in Lunenburg is an absolute gem! Their homemade ice cream and treats are out of this world—rich, creamy, and full of flavour. Seth makes every visit a pleasure with his warm, friendly demeanour, always greeting us with a smile. Our Irish Wolfhounds are spoiled too, thanks to the thoughtful pup cups that make them feel just as welcome. A must-stop spot in town for both people and pups!

Had a craving for ice cream (even though it wasn't a particularly warm or sunny day) and walked past here. Was surprised by the number of flavours available so it was a hard choice. Price was really good and we got a waffle cone for the same price as a regular cone (which most places don't do, I've noticed). Picked the peanut butter ice cream and it was great! Would definitely come back to try other flavours!

Did not try their ice cream, as we were basically ignored by the staff when we walked in for a milkshake after our early dinner last night. There were two of us, we walked into the store around 6 PM, three ladies were chatting behind the counter, I enquired about milkshakes with the oldest of the three, she just answered yes to my question ("Do you have milkshakes") while looking away from me, then quickly turned her attention to the family who walked in right behind us, being super friendly, warm and chatty with them (?). Not sure what we did to deserve such a cold welcome, but upon realizing the way we had been treated we quickly turned around and walked straight out of the store (so did the family after us). Sad, because we were really craving a milkshake. No labour shortage here, more like a shortage of true Atlantic hospitality... They get two stars for the wonderful small of freshly made waffle cones floating...

It's ice cream, so it tastes good, obviously - kind of hard to go wrong there. But the "homemade" part is a bit of a stretch - first, because only a few of the flavours are actually homemade (they indicate which ones, which is good, but it's only a couple), and second, the ingredients in the "homemade" options are the same as what you get in a standard box of ice cream from the store (e.g. dextrose). Anyway, it's fine, but compared to other ice cream it's nothing special. I had 'death by chocolate' and strawberry, my wife two peanut butter kinds and my...
