It's midday, mid-summer and mid-week and it's closed? Why is this area even locked? Redpath Sugar beach in Toronto has the same thing and it's free, because it's public. The clock beach should be open - seriously a waste of space if it's just going to be private and closed to tourists and locals. Also, had I known it was $2 to sit in a chair, wouldn't have bothered checking it out. Cash grab...

I went to Montreal this time, and we found this hidden beach behind the clock tower. I looked at some pictures from the review and it looks amazing in the summer. However, the beach was already closed during the time of our Thanksgiving weekend visit. I will definitely be back next time to...
