The specialty beer was good and so was the food, but the service painfully slow, and quite frankly, I do not understand why they do not have menus in English. The place is located at a major tourist spot in Montreal, every summer thousands of international tourists (who don't necessarily speak French) pass by day in day out and some may be tempted to stop by and try on their beers. We were sitting next to a family from India, they got their menus (the same one we got) and they were scratching their heads trying to figure out what it was written, the waitstaff was nowhere to be seen; in the end the entire group, about 10 of them got up and left, presumably to spend their money somewhere else. The owners need a bit more business intelligence (and before someone reply to my comment asking me to learn French: I am fluent in English, French, Dutch and Spanish... so spare me any possible idiotic comment) and create menus in English, and have them available for those international visitors who do not speak French (there are tons of them). Show customers that you appreciate their business and want them to spend their money in your establishment by providing them with a menu they...
Read moreBrewiskey is easily one of the best spots in the city to enjoy a beer, especially if you’re looking for a great outdoor patio experience. Located in the beautiful Old Port area, the ambiance is unbeatable. I spent an evening there with friends, and it was just perfect — laid-back, vibrant, and full of character. The street outside adds to the charm, with its historic vibe and lively atmosphere, making the whole experience feel special and relaxed.
The outdoor patio is spacious and well set up, making it a great place to unwind with a cold drink in hand. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just enjoying the evening air, Brewiskey offers a chill setting that’s hard to match. The beer selection is solid, with a range of options to suit different tastes, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the night.
While I didn’t explore much of the food menu this time, the overall vibe of the place is what truly stood out. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back — not just for the drinks, but for the atmosphere and the experience. Highly recommend Brewiskey for a relaxed night out...

Another memorable part of our visit were the small plates. Each dish was packed with incredible flavors that left us wanting more. From the mouth-watering beef sliders to the unforgettable Canadian candied bacon, every small plate we tried was a true delight for the taste buds.
If you're planning on visiting BreWskey, I highly recommend making a reservation or calling ahead. The taproom can get quite busy, especially during peak hours, and you don't want to miss out on the opportunity to sample their amazing beer and food.
Overall, I can't recommend BreWskey Taproom enough. It's a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great beer and food, and the Canadian candied bacon is definitely a dish you won't want to miss. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you won't be disappointed by a visit to this...
