Not even close in value to the price charged. There are 3 “pre-show” rooms that have very unnecessary content. The 3 rooms are nothing more that “group staging areas” to hold size appropriate groups of visitors while the prior group is on the “ride”. The pre-show was full of Native American historical religion telling of the creation of earth and human life. It is presented almost as truth rather than an old religious belief. The origin of life is NOT compatible with any of the Abrahamic religions of the world such as Judaism, Islam, Christian, or most any of the many various world wide religions. Do you really want your impressionable young children to be exposed to this? Further, whereas I do understand that the native people of the area, hundreds of years ago were an important part of the area history, their religion is really not a part of the falls experience any more than the religion of the European settlers that were actually the people that developed the falls area into the marvelous tourist destination it is. The pre-show is FAR LONGER than the actual 6 minute “ride” that is being paid for. Also, the 3 pre-show rooms only have a few benches for people to sit upon. The entire even is NOT very friendly to the handicapped or those that cannot tolerate extended standing to view non-relevant history. The ride itself is EXTREMELY SHORT for the price paid, but impressive. Guests are seated with locking seat belts (because of the motion of the ride that mimics the flight of the drone video) complete with wind and mist. You will feel somewhat like you are actually flying around the falls area. It is fun but, as I said, a very short ride for the $30 price. I really was imparted with the feeling that the entire $25 million dollar project was created as an advertisement for all of the other “pay to play” offerings in the Niagara area. Because of this, I would highly suggest that this be reserved as your last event of your visit so as to not spoil other attractions that the simulated flight visits. I gave this a one star rating based on the unnecessary pre-show, pre-show content, and the lack of seating in the 3 pre-show rooms. Despite the very short duration of the ride, I would have given the ride alone a 4 star rating as it was impressive. My suggestion is to do all of the rest of the area events first and save this for last or avoid it and save your money. For 6 short minutes of area advertising, this is certainly...
Read moreDear Management/Customer Service,
I am writing to formally bring to your attention an incident that occurred during my recent visit, which unfortunately spoiled my overall experience.
I arrived at the line at 2:50 p.m. and was instructed by the attendant to return at 3:10 p.m. My baby daughter needed to be measured, so I stepped aside to rejoin my family in the side line. At that point, one of the attendants opened the line and allowed a few members to rejoin our group.
While this was happening, the Manager, Ashley, approached the attendant and made a comment. She then addressed me in a noticeably rude and dismissive tone, instructing me to join the line again. When I asked if she was speaking to me, she chose to walk away without clarification or courtesy.
As a paying customer, I find it unacceptable to be spoken to in this manner. The interaction not only caused unnecessary embarrassment but also diminished what should have been an enjoyable visit with my family. Managers are expected to lead by example and demonstrate professionalism, especially in customer-facing environments. Ashley’s tone and conduct fell short of these expectations and reflect poorly on the organization.
I strongly recommend that management provide Ashley with further training in professional communication and customer service. As a leader, her role should be to set a standard of respect and courtesy for her team to follow, not the opposite.
I hope this matter is addressed promptly, as I would not want other guests to have their visit spoiled in the...
Read moreBeautiful high quality footage of the falls and nearby attractions, and the misting and smells were great additions. It does not cover the 56km of the Niagara river between two Great Lakes as advertised though - we expected a flyover down the parkway to Fort Erie but the film just quickly jumps from one site in the falls to the battle scene. It almost felt like a tourist video of parks commission attractions. If you’ve been on a similar attraction with a curved screen you’ll know that outside seats experience a distorted image and our view was stretched and curved. Unfortunately we couldn’t go back and get in line again for free, hoping for different seats. Might be worth checking out once if you have the extra money but it is a pricey 6 min film at $30 per person. (There is a 2 person online bundle if you want to save about 50 cents each…) The two rooms prior aren’t exactly educational or full of local history but provide a very basic overview; to be honest I had no interest in the first room and couldn’t focus on the message. There’s only one small bench in each room as well if you have problems standing for more than a few minutes as one family member did. Be prepared for the forced kitschy tourist photo at the start, available for another $25 in the gift...
