Falls Incline Railway — Local services in Niagara Falls

Absolutely atrocious costumer service. An absolute money grab. Zero respect for people or empathy. 12 people just trying to quickly get to the falls in the freezing cold for a quick picture for a bride and groom and yet forced us to Pay 7.50$ each just for 5 mins . Stood there in the freezing cold going back and forth with teenagers who work there. Heres a tip. When it's a special occasion ie a wedding during your non peek time of year . Let the people just ride the trolley. This incline machines makes millions dollars a year in tourist but couldn't accommodate for a bride and groom for 10 mins. Absolutely ridiculous and beyond disgusting. Oh and to add we already spent 50$ yesterday for the party to ride the trolley up and down yesterday. So you already got money from us...

With all the hotels on a plateau and no stairs nearby (we stayed at the Embassy), there's a reason why you don't see people drinking in the beauty of the falls early in the morning or late at night.

If you don't use the funicular. You will either have a long walk or have to pay for parking

You can either have a long walk towards Clifton Hills or one towards the Carmel Monastery, to use a "not in use" road, which as informed is no longer in use or maintained. Or you can pay for parking by the hydroelectric station. Options are limited and "they have us over a barrel".

It is one of 2 funicular in the area. And it's $3 for a very quick ride. When you're a couple, it's affordable, but it becomes more expensive when you have more people...
