We made our way down the long path alongside Niagara Falls to the visitor center. It was wintertime so when we walked through the mist we were covered in ice! Luckily the visitors center was open and upstairs they had bathrooms were we could dry off. There were lots of cute shops and we regret not buying the flavored maple syrup since it has been impossible to find after returning to the states. We also rode the cable cars up the side of the hill so that we could explore the strip. It reminded us a lot of International Drive in Orlando...lots of shops, restaurants and...
Read moreThe resturant has a perfect view of the falls if you can get a seat. They open promptly at 11AM. Though they do honor folks who have made a reservation, it is a first come, first serve event. We did not have a reservation, but got in line about 10:45AM. There were only 3 folks ahead of us; a couple with a reservation arriving about 11:05AM. Because they weren't "on time", we got to go in first and beat them to an excellent tableview. The food is superbly perpared and deliciuos.
