During our recent trip to Niagara Falls, we visited the Ten Thousand Buddhas Sarira Temple (also known as Cham Shan Temple), and it was truly a peaceful and enriching experience. Nestled near the White Water Walk and just off the bustling Niagara Parkway, this temple offers a calm and serene escape from the busy tourist spots.
The architecture is stunning, with traditional Chinese design and intricate details that reflect deep cultural and spiritual significance. Inside, the temple houses a breathtaking collection of over 10,000 Buddha figurines, each uniquely crafted. The temple grounds are beautifully maintained and ideal for quiet reflection and meditation.
Although photography inside is not permitted, the experience leaves a lasting impression. The staff and volunteers are respectful and welcoming. Parking is available nearby on an hourly basis, like most places around Niagara, so it's best to plan ahead.
If you’re visiting Niagara and looking for a place of calm, culture, and beauty, I highly recommend stopping by the Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple. It’s a spiritual retreat tucked away in the heart of nature, and a must-visit for anyone seeking a deeper experience...

Read moreWould You Walk inside it's breathtaking and so Zen. The bottom line is I couldn't take any video or pictures on the inside but I want to try to describe a huge gold Buddha and then shelves thousands of Buddhas it was very cool. There are places that you can pray and there is somebody there that kind of gives you a little bit of a understanding in a tour. Now the outside is pretty remarkable as well and I'm going to post some of the pictures that I took it's a huge parking lot but tons of statues and very cool music playing throughout on the outside. This is right across the street from the White Water walk so I think it's definitely worth it to have the time to go and see that especially if you're doing the bus pass for we go because it's right in front of the green line that takes...
