I have visited Niagara-on-the-Lake many times, saw the sign for the museum, but drove right by. This time I decided to follow the sign and discovered this lovely museum located in an old house with beautiful gardens. Outside there is a rose Bush called "1812" as well as a terrace with historical cutouts. Inside there is a lovely small gift store as well as historical exhibits of clothes, items and a dress up section for kids. Read moreThe 3rd Sunday of every month is free:). So much history! Two floors of items of historical significance. They have a tablet that you can get that'll explain in more detail the artifacts you see on display (if you leave some picture id). They have walking tours too, although not when we were there but @$10 the price was very reasonable. Nice attendant, very knowledgable. Outside they had some lifesize historical figures with the faces cut out so that you could put your own face and take pictures. All in the beautiful area Niagara...
