Poor customer service skills. We wanted to buy (4) pint icecreams and as soon as we arrived they interrupted us and didnt want to spend any time to listen to what we wanted and immediately told us to choose something that was already pre-packaged. We are regulars and every time we go to Cow's (even at the Prince Edward Island location) they gave us an option to choose from (3) flavours for a size that large. The woman said that they never offered (3) flavours for the pint size - we even went last week and ordered (3) flavours. As our family was choosing what we wanted and my father was still debating on what we wanted, the woman interrupted my father and told him to pay right away. This is not how they have ever operated. We order our ice cream, AND THEN pay. The woman then was sighing (by the way she wasn't even scooping the icecream, her colleague was - she was the commentator during this whole ordeal and had her panties in a knot from the moment we stepped in) Mind you - we had not even ordered our icecream yet! To top it off, they were scooping the icecream leaving it with mostly air inside the container! Absolutely horrible customer service. Rude, impatient, demanding, horrible attitude and ZERO customer service skills. It was so bad that we literally just left. We will never be going back and this woman completely ruined our experience at Cow's - which used to be a family activity that we enjoyed to do together and unfortunately cannot now. This icecream has left a spoiled taste...
Read moreI went to Cow’s in Whistler many years ago, I remover now that I was disappointed then, and sure enough was disappointed again. One of my favourite treats in life is ice cream. During my visit, I had to taste 9 different flavors before finding one that actually had a descent taste to it, not totally bland, the one I ended picking (ROYAL COWNADIAN MINT) was good, but still not great. There were others on their online menu I was looking forward to trying, but they didn’t have any of them that day. Got it in a waffle cone, walked outside, it was only 19 degrees out, so not too warm at all, within 2 minutes the ice cream was dripping down my hand and made a complete mess, this was very off-putting, especially when it stained my white shorts. Now that I’ve been to Cow’s twice, I will remember to never go back. It was the first time since the last time I had Cow’s several years ago that I actually threw out an ice cream, cone and all. Costco ice cream and their waffle cone is significantly better, heck even a McDonald’s $1 vanilla cone is better. I paid Cow’s $6,50 for a tiny one-scoop, and they even weighed it to make sure it wasn’t too big. Poor ice cream, poor experience, again. Didn’t take a pictures because it was that un-inspirational. There’s many ice cream places in NOTL,...
Read moreA "Mooonificent" Experience at Cows Niagara-on-the-Lake! My recent visit to Cows in Niagara-on-the-Lake was absolutely fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was delightful, and the service was truly exceptional.
A huge shout-out to Puneet, who provided some of the best customer service I've encountered. She was incredibly patient as I navigated the delicious, overwhelming choices of ice cream, making the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. Her recommendation of the Apple Crisp ice cream was spot-on. It was an absolutely amazing choice, and she was absolutely right about how good it was!
And let's not forget the humor! Puneet's joke was truly "mooonificent" and added such a fun, memorable touch to the visit. It's those little personal interactions that make an experience truly stand out.
Of course, no trip to Cows is complete without indulging in their charming merchandise. I might have gone a little overboard and purchased way too many cow-related items, but I loved every single one!
Overall, Cows Niagara-on-the-Lake, especially with staff like Puneet, offers a perfect blend of delicious treats, excellent service, and a wonderfully whimsical shopping experience. I'm already looking forward to...
