I previously rated this place slightly lower due to my first experience. The admin responded to my review and encouraged me to come back and try again. Since then, I have returned 3 times. My first review was on the hottest day of the summer. Many vendors didn't show up. Since returning, I've found everything I've been looking for. Fresher than the grocery store, no wax covering, etc. In many cases the things I'm buying are cheaper than at the grocery store as well.

Whether it be fresh herbs, unique mushrooms, fresh fish, or cooked to order foods. I'm finding some of the best quality at the downtown market. The prices are fair, the products are fresh, and there's even live entertainment. After visiting the market 4 or 5 times now, I'm quite impressed and will be disappointed when they close for the winter. My first visit wasnt ideal, but I'm really glad the admin encouraged me to give it another try.
