If you're looking for designer brands, many labels have set up shop within the shopping complex; in fact the majority of shops at Harbour City are designer brands (so don't expect shopping here to be cheap!) You'll find the shop assistants within any shop are very used to tourists from all over the world and they'll be very eager to help you.
The fact that Harbour City is located within TST and right next to the entrance of the Star Ferry means it's tourist chaos here, almost everyday of the year the mall is open. For first timers to Harbour City, it can be a little overwhelming and frustrating just trying to get through to where you want to go. Of course, make sure that you keep an eye on your belongings but more than that is watch where you're going; a lot of mainland Chinese tourists like to come to Harbour City to shop and they like to wheel around big luggage carriers. Having one of these rolling over your foot or even just banging into your shin is a really painful experience.
Every now and then the front entrance to the shopping complex will be decorated. At Christmas, the whole entrance and walkway is lavishly decorated, with giant figurines and sparkling Christmas ornaments.
