What a wonderful surprise! We wanted to try a Naples beach, and this is where we ended up. The parking lot was huge. When we got up to boardwalk - that's when we saw it was a 35acre costal habitat. There is a raised 3/4 mile shaded boardwalk thru the habitat to get to the beach. The resort next door operates golf carts that will drive you out to the beach - just go to the right once you enter the boardwalk to reach the pickup spot.
There is a nice eatery at the beach - Rhode's End - that you can grab something. Be prepared - it's pricey. The beach was nice - not very wide so it was pretty crowded. I walked north to Clam Pass - not many shells. They did have a variety of rocks - quite a few that...
Read moreAbsolutely beautiful park and beach. $10 to park for the day, also allowing you access to other beaches that day as well. Clean, well-kept beach with concession stand, shower areas for getting sand off your feet before returning to your cars. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are not a guest, bring your own towels. Chairs and cabanas are available to rent for the day. Just chairs are $20 a person. We arrived at 9am and walked the boardwalk, but had multiple trolleys pass us, used the trolleys at the end of the day. We will definitely be back due to the ease and...

There's a restaurant on the beach that had great food though wayyyy overpriced. The beach isn't as nice as Naples and does have a bit of shale. The water had a bit more waves which is fun if you like playing in the waves though that did mean the water wasn't clear due to the sand getting kicked back up. Overall it was pretty though I much prefer...
