NH Galería — Attraction in Cartagena

We attended an exhibit of Colombian artists and were very interested in a particular piece until the owner Nhora Haime tried the hard sell on us by saying that it was reserved for her but if we bought it right there and then she would sell it to us, otherwise it was a no go. When we inquired about the artists CV she responded that the artist didn't have one and sarcastically added that for the piece's price how could we expect to find out more. Really?? Later we looked his name up and found all the information on him we wanted which she obviously did not know. Guess what.... we will bypass this gallery and look for his...

This gallery is beautiful and has a lot of contemporary art. The interior is beautiful too. We had a really cool educational tour with the gallery director, Liliana. She was super knowledgeable and made our tour really interesting. It totally changed my perspective on art. We saw some really cool pieces at some really attractive art items. Gostei bastante na galeria, desde o espaço amplo e bem localizado como também um excelente atendimento que eu tive. Gostei também da variedade de artistas e obras muito completas e diversificadas com vários conceitos. Fiquei bem surpreso por encontrar uma obra de Andy Warhol.

Acho que falta um pouco do apoio do governo tanto estadual como municipal para incentivarque outras exposições como essa acontecessem ali na galeria ou em outros lugares de Cartagena.

Mas se você estiver em Cartagena não deixa de visitar e explorar as obras.
