Hotel Las Vegas — Hotel in Guatapé

The Las Vegas Hotel is a great hotel to stay when you're visiting Guatape for a few days.

The hotel is located in the middel of the center. The service is amazing. They barely speak English but we got some great tips.

The room we spent our first night in had a bed that was sagged. So we asked for a different room and were able to change rooms without any problems.

The rooms were clean. They provide soap bars and towels. The shower looks and feels a bit weird, this is because of the electrical work done to the shower head (See photos). It also doesn't work really well.

I think it would be a 5/5 experience if they did a few...

No lo recomiendo, me dieron una habitación que era la 307 donde tenía problemas de líquido en el lava manos y toda la noche tuvimos olor a cañería fuertísimo desde el baño. Yo si vi que en el baño tenían un spray de aromatizador y lo pusieron antes de entregarnos el cuarto pero al estar Ya allí durmiendo estuvo oliendo muy fuerte la tubería del inodoro, pasé reclamo pero no me han devuelto nada de dinero y por el contrario me están haciendo un cobro de una toalla como excusa Para no ser responsables del reembolso… Y como aquí no hay pruebas de nada pueden hacer lo que se les antoja y aprovecharse de la gente porque ella el pago fue hecho.

I do not recommend it, they gave me a room that was 307 where I had problems with liquid in the hand sink and all night we had a very strong plumbing smell from the bathroom. I did see that they had an air freshener spray in the bathroom and they put it on before giving us the room but when I was already there sleeping the toilet pipe smelled very strongly, I filed a complaint but they haven't returned any of my money and on the contrary I They are charging for a towel as an excuse to not be responsible for the refund... This hostel is the worst one I did in 2 months of travelling Colombia. The mattress is horrible, super soft with holes. I couldn't sleep at all. The blanket smells like transpiration. The bathroom doesn't seem very clean and looks old. And the worst part is that I paid 18 euros (80000 pesos), which is not so cheap if you compare to other hotels around. I definitly don't recommend...
