LA MARTINERA PLAZA PRINCIPAL — Hotel in Guatapé

I stayed in one of La Martinera apartments in August, I was surprised to have been handed over the place so dirty, I do not think it had been even swept!!! There were coffee stains on the kitchen tops and the fridge was not clean properly either. We had communication difficulties from the beginning, the responsible lady did not answer our messages. I was there with my mother ( 73 YO) and my mother in law ( 81YO) and we were left without hit water for 2 days. There were broken things around the apartment, such as door knobs, cupboard doors and a sofa. Even though the apartment looked brand new, the money we paid did not reflect the service and the quality we were expecting. The apartment was family friendly, with off street parking available. There are stairs going to the apartment...

LA MARTINERA - COLINA VIEW |Unfortunately, we were lied to. The only reason why we rented this spot was to stay in with friends, cook, bbq and chill in the jacuzzi. That never happened! The Jacuzzi located in UNIT 13, is filthy, with dirty water. We asked the host to help us relocate, or provide maintenance to clean the jacuzzi... we never got a response. We were completely ignored by the OWNER and HOST. We were so sad and disappointed. ||One more observation, the views to the rock are limited in this unit and NOT as shown on the pictures of this place. ||IN GENERAL, THE PLACE IS NOT CLEAN, AND THE HOST IS NOT RESPONSIVE AND ASKED ME TO PAY THEM VIA BANCOLOMBIA, WHICH WE CAN'T SINCE WE ARE...

I would recommend steering clear of this place if you are an American or Foreign tourist and you value your safety and security. It’s an unsafe building you will be putting yourself and your family at risk. My wife and I had to bail late at night to find another room elsewhere due to the concerns. Avoid yourself these issues look elsewhere this location is cheap...
