We had a very poor experience here, with service taking inconceivably long on a day that didn't seem particularly busy.

We wanted to order some drinks with a bit of food (nachos/tacos) before a bus we had to catch. We ordered everything around an hour before we needed to leave, but had to cancel the food after about 25-30 minutes as we thought we'd be too late.

After 40 minutes of waiting, we asked about our drinks and were told that the beers weren't cold. Eventually we had about half of our drinks arrive which we obviously had to drink very quickly.

If you want to have a catch up with a friend over dinner DO NOT go to Jala Jala to eat. The food is so incredible I almost blacked out. I think I forgot how to hear and traveled in a timeless realm where only me and one enormous burrito smothered in guacamole and sour cream existed. I’m a different person now. Sunday night....Three customers... Five wait staff.... Placed my order....took more than 10 mins to get my beer. Then another 15 mins to get the chicken strips...
