Dubrovnik Blue Cave — Attraction in Dubrovnik

I recently had the incredible pleasure of experiencing a boat tour with Blue Cave Dubrovnik, and I cannot recommend this company enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing.

Our captain, Erik, was exceptional. His friendly demeanor made us feel right at home on the water.

Safety was clearly a top priority for the team, as the boat was equipped with various safety equipment. We had life jackets available for everyone, pool noodles, and even goggles to explore beneath the surface of the crystal-clear waters whilst in the water. This attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our adventure without any worries.

The sights we encountered were breathtaking. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery around us.

We couldn’t go past Alen’s friendly smile as we were staying nearby his shop in old town and he was just so lovely with our little boys. He was a really genuine guy and nothing was a problem, so after looking at lots of different options we ended up going out on a boat with Captain Duje who was just incredible with our young family (3yo, 7mo). Our 3yo loved captain duje so much he chose to hang out with him on the boat while the rest of us had a swim and he had a brilliant time. I can’t recommend this company enough. In addition to this, a week later my family had a driver fall through who was meant to take us from Dubrovnik to Kotor. Although this wasn’t Alen’s business, he was literally the only person we had a contact for in Dubrovnik so we messaged him at 9pm and by 2pm the next day he had connected us to a lovely driver who brought us to Kotor safely. On another note, I would like to remind visitors from Asia that if you are not a regular swimmer or do not engage in swimming workouts, it is advisable to wear a life jacket and use a snorkeling mask with a breathing tube before entering the water. The distance from the boat to the entrance of the cave, which is about half a meter high (around 15-20 meters), can be quite challenging, especially in the afternoon when the waves are stronger. Spending about 15 minutes inside the cave and then swimming back to the boat requires a certain level of physical fitness.
