MUST GO STOP... Had the Ottimo panini, Americano and sample of local Dubrovnik White Wine. I now will be adding chili flakes to my tuna & wish had the avocado cream recipe. Please know I returned for my meal next day because of Tomi who was so pleasant, professional & fun to talk with when inquired about type of foods & bread. He made the best Americano I've had in months! Wish had room in luggage for bottle of fabulous white wine. The portion size is excellent; he cut & wrapped half for me to go. The focaccia bread is quite unique to those I've had & say "bravo"! Alan gave me a little of cafe/bar history. The B&W photo of the owners is a perfect and brilliant touch to the casual but unique feel of your place. There were only 2 people in front of us when we got there, so we managed to place our orders rather quickly. My partner and I both went for the same sandwich and they were both delicious. Very crispy on the outside with very flavourful fillings.

Whilst we were eating we saw two tour guides who came in and dropped their stuff in, so there may be an understanding between them to get recommended. Regardless of that, I do feel like the reviews are true, as the paninis were very fresh and tasty.

We paid €24 for both paninis. They were good, but I do feel that they were overpriced. Being in a tourist hotspot like Dubrovnik does have that effect...

If you're in Dubrovnik and looking for the best focaccia sandwiches ever, Franco Romana in the Old Town is an absolute must-visit! I had the Superiore focaccia, filled with prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto, tomatoes, and basil—and honestly, it was the most incredible sandwich I've ever eaten. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the bread was so fresh and delicious that I wanted to order another one the second I finished! The service was top-notch—super friendly and welcoming—and the atmosphere was great with awesome music playing in the background.
