This is got to be one of the stupidest tourist attractions in Prague. The wall is obviously artificial... I knew it beforehand. I went there for a concert and saw it reluctantly. It looks like mud dripping down a wall and making it thoroughly useless as a wall. Yeah, There's plaque explaining the logic behind it... baroque symbolism and iconography and occult melding together yadda yadda yadda. After reading the plaque thoroughly, the wall still felt pretty stupid! I didn't take any pictures. It's not worth wasting even digital...
Read moreAmazing and frightening at the same time, these weird somewhat randomized shapes create a sense of fear and danger but then again you ask yourself why and how could the artist create such a thing, it's just fabulous. I mean it's not like it's a ghost, or a mummy or a dangerous looking face or a wild animal but still we feel fearful maybe because we cannot fathom what it actually is. Read moreArtificial stalactite cave comes as well as the entire Baroque garden from the mid-17th century. The garden was built at the instigation of the commander, Albrecht of Wallenstein, who invited the Italian builder. There was also a marble water tank where people could refresh themselves. The cave was built using stone masonry. The stalactites themselves are formed from roofing material made of a burnt clay, wooden fittings, wires, and various small elements that mimic the stalagmites in their shape.
