We stayed here for 3 nights. On arrival we checked in at the sister hotel – The Three Storks. (Waldstein is tucked away behind it so don’t make the mistake of walking past the Three Storks, otherwise you will have to come back on yourself). The staff at the Three Starks are extremely helpful and check in was smooth. We had a welcome drink and even though we were early they told us our room was ready. ||The room itself was small for a double but had everything we needed (Room 14). Up just one flight of stairs. The shower was powerful, and they provided all the essentials. They even have a small mini bar. ||The breakfast was nice and a shout out to Romana – she kept it well stocked and tidy. She is an asset to the hotel, and it was a great start to our day! ||The hotel is in a great location, very close to Charles Bridge. Some food recommendations, Porks (not far from the hotel at all), Hybernsha (new town), Stridacka (old town) and Kuchyn (very close to the Castle).||I would also recommend getting the Prague Visitor Pass if you want to see all the sights, it also includes travel to and from the airport, you can get it from any of the information points. Well...
Read moreWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it!||The main reason is that the hotel is perfectly located on a quiet square, but within walking distance of both the historic city centre (15 minutes via the beautiful Charles Bridge/Karlův most) and Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. You simply couldn't be at a better location. Close to everything, but with the much-needed peace and quiet at night. ||The hotel itself is also charming. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and spacious enough. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has underfloor heating, and there's both a refrigerator and a safe. The staff are also friendly and helpful.|Breakfast is served in the cellar, a delightful place to sit. The selection is rather limited, but the ingredients are fresh, and everyone should find something to their liking. We stayed in the family suite room 24 and honestly can't think of any negative points. However, there is a room 1 on the ground floor near the entrance, which I believe won't be ideal as everyone passes by all the time.||Anyway, in a nutshell, I would certainly...
Read moreWe recently stayed at hotel Waldstein and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located just up the road from a variety of restaurants and the tram, making it easy to explore the area. We arrived late in the evening, the check-in process was at the Three Stork hotel, the receptionist was very welcoming, even showed us to our room.||||The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed for a great night’s sleep. It was equipped with a mini fridge and a coffee machine, which was a nice touch. Although there was no kettle, the coffee machine worked well for making hot water. ||||The lady at breakfast was friendly. The breakfast was simple, but it was more than enough to keep us going through the morning.||||The only downside to our stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the drains after using the shower. It was noticeable, but we managed by keeping the bathroom door shut.||||Overall, we had a wonderful 2 night...
