Kunsthal Aarhus — Attraction in Aarhus Municipality

A very peaceful and friendly place to visit. It's simple art projects, installations, and paintings. I like the simplicity, lots of light, and that the rooms are not stuffed with art. I come especially in summer time, because art also is around this old aarhus institution. The art-building also houses concerts and artists' experimentarium. It's free entry. It's wheelchair accessible on all levels. There is a cafe place with snacks. You can sit inside and outside. Toilets are clean. It's very children friendly. I already love this place, but the interactive exhibitions on the first floor are something else, absolutely do not miss them, especially you have artcurious kids or friends. I also had a terrific time with the guide, she was exceedingly knowledgeable, not only about the current exhibitions, búta just plain fun to listen too....

It's nice they have a running track for the entrance, and they had a tasting box to go with an exhibition while were there. They really go for the interactive, but it feels as though it's aimed more at children as a result. That, and the spaces are under utilised. There's potential here, but maybe...
