We returned a week ago from Paris, which was stunning and fun, but one little incident that clouded and continues to cloud our visit.
Let's start from the beginning - we are 4 girls who decided to go to Paris between the dates to celebrate the New Year there. We booked flights and a hotel already in the summer and were looking forward to the experience. We consulted with local friends, and they all recommended us a club called Monsieur Cirque. We purchased tickets for the party on 12.31, at a price of 105 euros per person. Before we purchased, we also corresponded with them on Instagram to make sure that they would arrive at 12 at night, and would arrive after, and they said there was no problem (after all, they were also more expensive than the tickets for 12 and beyond, which were already incurred at that stage). After seeing the New Year's celebrations at the Arc de Triomphe, we continued to the club, a walk that although not far under normal conditions, was quite a walk under the conditions of the amount of people who were there at that point. In short, we arrived at the club, showed Dorman the tickets and he announced solemnly that we were not entering. Why? So. We talked to the person who was introduced as the manager, who said that's what the doorman is, we don't go in. When we asked what was happening with the amount paid (420 euros in total...) we were told we would be credited the next day. guess what? We did not search the next day nor until today, a week and a half later. Apart from the tremendous mental anguish caused to us due to the running of the plans for the new year, we also have to deal with opacity and considerable financial budgets. So what is called - you have been warned. The club shines, with a name it had before and 0 care about the crowd that frequents its doors. If you are looking for a place to hang out, we strongly recommend...
Read moreGiving 1 star because I can’t give 0. I approached the security staff to ask if they allow entry to people not on the list and am EXPLICITLY told YES. Then I return with my friends just to be told BY THE SAME DUDE it’s guest list only. Right before me in the queue two girls that’s actually were on the guest list were denied entry. (All of us with heels, dresses and full face make up). At the same time they’re letting a bunch of dudes in trainers and cheap joggers pass. It’s impossible to find information about guest list requirements online. The security was extremely rude and straight up lied to irritate us. If you only allow guest list please make it known at first instance. A...
