It was not as I thought. I must say that the staff are really good, friendly, and serve quickly with a very smiling face.

But, sorry, that your food was not good. We were 12 persons, we ordered almost all the varieties of dish.

Only soup was really good and delicious. Even I ordered a cocktail, & it tastes terrible!

They put too much chair & table into their restaurants, it seems like there is no space for walk. I had to go to the toilet, and it was horrible.

And the price!! OMG!! It was far way expensive!

I have traveled to Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Barcelona, Madrid and almost 100+ big cities, and tried Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese cuisine. But I found their food is really expensive. It was 50+ Euro for one person!

( I am very sorry, that I have to write the word 'terrible'. But it is true, that the fruit cocktail .33ml was not worth 11/12 Euro. Sorry again!

The service was certainly nice, because you have wonderful personnel, we loved them, which i mentioned before, but it felt like I was drinking mango juice, and the juice was too sugary. Sorry again!

Was it for the thirty-first night or for the busiest day? I think, it cannot be an excuse for such a big restaurant!

Because, your restaurant was not a random restaurant, where anyone walked in at any time, you only took reservations for as many people as you could serve.

I took chicken curry with coconut for myself, and I still remember that it was hard for me to finish, and I do not want to waste food, I finished it because we were out of the hotel till 4 am that night, so I had a Fear of being hungry at night. Yeah! I shared it with my friends, and they had the same opinion unfortunately!

The fried rice was hard & crunchy. I wrote the food is expensive compared to the quality and taste. The food which was good I wrote in the first place that the soup was very good, in fact one of the best soup i have ever tasted!

Your staff was excellent.

If it was because there were lots of people, then maybe we will visit again and try. But I have tested it only once, I have never eaten it before, so my review will be based on my test on that day. And my friends have the same opinion. Everyone said the soup was delicious, not the main dish. I'm sorry!

And I haven’t wrote a false...

First of all let me be clear. What I experienced has nothing to do with the owner. We had a conversation with him and he was very warm and pleasant. However, we were poorly treated as soon as we walked in. The hostess greeted us coldly. She brought us to the table with no eye contact or smile. Then it gets better. The waitress who speaks poor French/ English grabbed my two year old daughter's hands then took the menu away from her TWICE. We had to tell her not to touch our child again. We should really leave the restaurant at this point but the kids were hungry so we decided to stay. Food came out mediocre. It sure isn't authentic Chinese food, but if you are looking for something fusion, I guess it is fine. I will not come back again, and the Chinese waitress who served us has shoulder-length curly hair and...

Wonderful Dinner Experience at Kok Ping in Paris

Last night we had a lovely dinner at a charming restaurant Kok Ping in Paris. Although the lady who took our order didn't speak a word of English, she was extremely helpful, patient, and served us with a big smile the entire time!

We chose the set menu, and everything was delicious. The appetizers were absolutely tasty, and the main courses were beautifully presented with amazing flavors.

From the outside, the restaurant might look small, but inside it's actually spacious and beautifully decorated.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone near the Champs Élysées looking for a great meal and...

Great restaurant for some well executed authentic Chinese or Thai food. The service was also very friendly and the decoration was on point. Both the pan fried dumplings and the dim sum were good but I have had better. The Szechuan shrimp sauce was flavorful but the shrimp slightly on the tough side, but with the “rice au nature” it was enjoyable. The soup on the other hand was surprising with its interesting ingredients and flavor combinations. The Thai flan was excellent, while the chocolate cake was a bit disappointing, since the middle was not at all molten. Overall I do suggest this restaurant for a pleasant Chinese/Thai cuisine experience.

This place is so underrated. Some of the best vegetarian Thai food we have ever had and this is coming from someone that has travelled the world including Thailand. Make sure to get the eggplant stir fry shown in the receipt I posted. It will blow your mind. The Tom kha soup and red curry also great! I can’t say enough about the ambience of the restaurant. White table service at the price of a normal restaurant. Just a great memorable meal in Paris. Amazing location as well! Update: went a second time few days later. While sitting we saw another couple walk in and say “we were here yesterday”.
