We’ve been in Paris a week and this is first place to suck. I mean just...... really all around If you sit on far left side of their patio by the cathedral you will see runoff (your sitting in it....... from the sewer/bathroom). Go anywhere else please don’t be like us and waste your precious time in Paris with their cold, stank food and disgusting kitchen. I’ve never actually left a bad review anywhere anytime on google maps (I’ve done dozens of reviews). Hopefully that tells you to avoid this joke of a tourist trap. Food was cold, they forgot our drinks, and then brought two of three drinks. The muscles were not good, bread was etable but came after 26 minutes (and if u speak French u can get it in bout 13 minutes cuz they ignore tourists also a first ) We’ve had a fantastic experience other places but this is first one we actually left without being able to really make a dent in the meal (tried to eat it but just tasted like the backside of a Mooses butt) so we asked em for check and cashed out and went three doors down where they don’t have raw sewage overflowing and seeping under your feet at the table. (Oh and if you want a real nice view of the Paris sewer go check out the bathroom downstairs three steps past the left turn and it’s doors are snapped off ......I should have taken a picture of the floor then anyone going here could see where that liquid on left side of...
Read moreI've been eating in that area frequently and always had good experience. This time I had family visitors and we chose the Saint Severin since it states "Cafe" on the outside too. Since two of us had to catch the train they would only stay for 10 minutes and order a coffee (they'd obviously then also free up their seats to other customers), and two including myself and our little son would order something to eat. When I went for the 10 Euro set menu they are clearly advertising outside the waiter told me that "this menu is for children only" and refused to take my order. (They do not have an around 15 Euro menu like other restaurants, so that leaves the 19.90 menu or a la carte). He was clearly lying since this was nowhere declared on their menu nor on the outside, and I never had any such problem in the other restaurants in the area. I talked to the lady at the entrance too and she was kind of using similar excuses, even telling me that other restaurants' 10 Euro menues were children-only either , clearly they seemed not to want to serve us since they feared we would not spend enough, even though the place wasn't nearly full at that time. We went to another place and everything was fine (even ordering the...
