Wir waren am 3. Januar 1985 dort essen in einem Restaurant mit dem Namen "Le Bateau Lavoir" zu Viert essen und uns wurde erst im Laufe des Abends bewusst, was dies für eine legendenbehaftete Örtlichkeit mal wenige Jahrzehnte zuvor gewesen war.

Wir hatten in der Silvesternacht zwei mal je 500 französische Franc gefunden. Die wollten wir nun auf den Kopf hauen ... :-).

Der Koch war ein früherer Schiffskoch und trug seinen linken Arm in Gips.

Wir waren die ersten Gäste die vor der Tür standen.

Als nach uns weitere Gäste eintrafen hatte der Koch - der übrigens auch am Tisch bedient hatte - die Eingangstür verschlossen, weil er meinte, mehr würde er nicht schaffen.
