The location of the hostel is excellent, as it is close to many famous attractions such as the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the Moulin Rouge, and the Pigalle district. The nearest metro station is Abbesses, which is just a few minutes' walk away and connects guests to the rest of the city. Its located at 7 Rue Aristide Bruant, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. It is situated in the Montmartre area, known for its artistic history and charming atmosphere.
Local knowledge: Hostel staff are often knowledgeable about the local area and can provide recommendations on things to see and do.
Amenities: This Hostel offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and luggage storage.
Plug-Inn Hostel, offers different types of rooms, from individual, to couple rooms to 4 beds rooms.
I want to remark the option to have breakfast at the hotel, from 7:30 to 10:00. It consists in a CROASSANT (baked there), some bread (baguette) with free butter (President) and ham, with orange juice (not natural, but it's ok), milk, coffee and cereals.
You can have dinner there.- You can call Uber Eat, and have dinner in a terrace inside the hostel.
It has a fantastic location.- Going out of this hostel, if u turn left and go up the street you will find a marverllous and historic street, with Vincent Van Gogh house and other interesting houses. And street coffees where you can eat delicious sandwiches.
Finally, I want to underline the relation stablished with workers in this hostel.- All of them try to make you feel your best.
I can't tell you other thing that... RECOMENDED.
N.B.- You can read a lot of reviews talking about the size of the lift, they say it's small, unconfortable.... but I want to make u think about an item:
It satisfy your necesities to go up or down, and of course, I prefer a good room (I gonna sleep there) than a lift, jajjaja...
Read moreThis is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Thank you for the pastries, front desk lady- you made my day 😊 and I still insist you don't need to spend a dime on those "lifts" 😝
Reasons this hostel is tops: They actually clean the rooms, well, every day.
They give you a free (but modest), consistent breakfast, every day. It's quality bread, and a great way to meet other hostel people.
I stayed in a six-room, and it had a spacious shower just for us (attached). Toilet paper was resupplied daily as well. Clean towels and sheets were provided. Beds were fine for a hostel.
In my case, if you leaned out the window and look left, you could see the Eiffel Tower clearly. This location is unironically perfect for touring the city- you're next (5min walk) to Moulin Rouge, so if you're into the sex stuff, you're are the right spot. 5min walk to the blue 2 metro line, which will take you anywhere you need to go. The walk to it, in the morning, is a gorgeous mix of tourists, french families walking to work/school, indian shops selling overpriced souvenirs, French pâtisserie, boulangerie, viennoiserie, in addition to randoms, all going about their day. It's Paris at it's most honest.
Organized staff and operation. The staff weren't just friendly, they were outright helpful- in my first five minutes, I'd managed to lose my keycard, and they replaced it with zero hassle, once I verified myself. It was also super convenient, since all you needed to access your room and lobby was a single keycard, instead of three separate keys, a secret knock, and a contact in the KGB, like most hostels.
They had a dedicated shelf for people to store their stuff after checkout which was a huge blessing for me.
Very close to some great clubs as well, just be aware you are in the tourist district, so don't expect anything cheap and keep an eye on your stuff. I had zero issues with pickpockets or scammers in the area.
This hostel made Paris great, and if I ever come back,...
Read moreThis hostel is great if you are in Paris for the weekend and are travelling on a budget. The place was pleasantly clean, simple, and with modern albeit small bathrooms. The highlight is definitely the location.||||The reception is 24/7 and the staff are friendly and are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They will also let you leave your bags before the check-in time free of charge. I also appreciated the light breakfast they provided, which was a small croissant and bread bun, with a choice of cereals, tea/coffee, spreads etc. ||||The rooms are definitely no-frills, but if you will be spending most of the time outside your room then they are perfectly adequate. There are plenty of charging points, towels & hairdryer provided, and a large fan to cool the room which was useful. I would have appreciated if they included a bottle of hand soap - especially during these times - but you get what you pay for. The wi-fi is pretty spotty and I ended up relying mostly on my roaming. We asked for an iron and were lent one no problem. After breakfast, any left over bread is put out in a basket in reception for free taking too.||||As other reviews have pointed out, the lift is miniscule and small. During the early morning you'll probably get woken up by the sound of people's footsteps going up/down the stairs, or the lift ringing. There are no safes in rooms, just some small lockers by reception.||||However, it is in a perfect location with a lively neighbourhood right at your doorstep. There are countless bars, restaurants, and shops. The metro is a short 7 minute walk away, it is round the corner from the Sacre Couer, and any amenities can easily be bought at supermarkets nearby. ||||I would love to return here next time I am in Paris!! If you are not fussy, then I would recommend this hostel - or no-frills hotel - as a...
