Kozy in Montmartre is… well, cozy — but maybe a little too on-brand. I had the Halloumi Avocado Eggs Benedict, and while it looked like a brunch influencer’s dream, the flavor didn’t quite match the hype. The halloumi was good but a little on the chewy side, and the whole dish could’ve used a bit more punch. My wife’s PB Brioche French Toast was sweet, soft, and Instagram-ready, but leaned more “dessert coma” than “balanced breakfast.” The vibe is relaxed and stylish — perfect for a slow Paris morning — and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. But for the price and the buzz, I expected something a bit more wow and a little less hmm. Still, solid coffee, great presentation, and a nice spot to people-watch if you don’t mind a little “brunch theatre” with your meal.

I had brunch at Kozy and it was such a great experience. I ordered an iced matcha with cold foam and the waffles with fried chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. The matcha was smooth and refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the cold foam made it feel extra special. The waffles and chicken were perfectly cooked: crispy, flavorful, and really satisfying. What stood out to me was how quickly everything came out. The café was packed when we arrived, so I expected a bit of a wait, but the food was served much faster than I anticipated. The vibe inside was lively but still cozy enough to relax and enjoy a meal. Even with the crowd, it never felt overwhelming, and the staff were kind and welcoming despite how busy they were.

Very nice place for brunch in the heart of Montmartre. Loud and full in a positive way. Good choice of food. What could be improved: outside tables and chairs stand uneven due to the elevation of the street. Large plates or full glasses slided down to table to the lower side due to its weight. We had to hold them and put napkins below. Other restaurants build an even, wooden platform to arrange their chairs and tables properly. Maybe something to consider. Or at least some „plastic“ mats on the table to avoid the sliding! Also, some extras to the plates were a bit to much: Tons a peanut butter on the granola. Liters of pistachio creme and sauce on the pancakes. But I would still go again. 😇

THE QUEUE FROM HELL : Food was great however the service has it’s own story to tell. After 30 min queue we got hopeful about getting a table. However what followed was 30 min of what I would call: how to pretend to work. The queue is a joke as the waiters 1. Do not respect it and let people come in the restaurant and sit them down (allegedly for real reasons - tell it to the people queueing for 1 hour) and 2. Do not take care of it as empty tables stayed empty for 10 to 15 min before the queue was asked to occupy them. I would like to say the staff was overwhelmed and there were too many people, but when 3+ tables are empty simultaneously and the staff priority is to « re-arrange » the cutlery on the table while looking into the abyss and not taking initiative to manage the queue, we need to call it what it is : BAD SERVICE ALERT. As a bonus: our table was not cleaned and the menu stand was dripped in what i can only assume was delicious Maple syrup… #thethingswedoforbruch While sitting waiting our food 3 more tables were empty and stayed empty for 23 min (yeah i timed it, I’m a psycho). The staff inside was lovely but getting in needs to be...

After seeing such good reviews I was excited to come here and have a nice brunch. However, upon arrival no waiters came to take my order or give me the QR code menu. When I asked he said to give him a moment. A few minutes later another waitress came out to take my order when I had not even received the QR to look at the menu.

Food took awhile to arrive but I understood that they were very busy so I brushed it off. However after eating 80% of it I noticed a hair on my salmon. I told the waiter and he said “it’s not from us, there is no hair in the kitchen”. I am wearing a head covering so it can’t be from me🧐

Anyways, with no apologies or anything he left. No one came afterwards and I was waiting for about 10+ minutes for someone to walk past so I could pay the bill (did not want to pay the extra fee for paying via the QR code). No one came, so finally I just paid via the QR and left.

Overall disappointing and upsetting experience. I understand the restaurant is busy so I don’t mind the waiting time and lack of service, but that on top of just lackluster food and the poor service attitude and response to the hair just summed it into a...

This is not a restaurant — there is no kitchen. It’s a cafe serving pre-prepared food that they heat up and plate to look pretty. We just wanted to order scrambled eggs or an omelet (since there are other eggs on the menu, we figured this would be no issue) but they said they can’t do this since everything is pre-prepared…. A breakfast “restaurant” that can’t do an omelet or scrambled eggs?? We ended up ordering pancakes and a waffle. The pancakes were cold. The waffle had large pieces of raw sliced apple on top with the stem and seeds still intact and a few blue berries and tiny pieces of kiwi. Not what I expected when ordering a waffle with assorted fruit. Usually if you got an apple waffle the apples would be carmelized to soften it and cut into bite size pieces. It reminded me of display food: pretty, but not practical to eat. The waitstaff were polite but it was very hard to get their attention to get them to come to the table (we had to ask multiple times just to get napkins). I wouldn’t recommend this place—they should be honest and upfront that they are not a restaurant, they’re a cafe with limited...
