I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoyed my "Vedettes du pont neuf" cruise on the Seine River in Paris! From the moment I stepped aboard, I knew I was in for a special experience. The boat was spacious and comfortable, allowing everyone to have an unobstructed view of the stunning Parisian landmarks along the riverbanks.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the city transformed into a glittering spectacle of lights. The Eiffel Tower, in particular, was a sight to behold as it started to sparkle, creating a magical ambiance that left me in awe. The onboard guide provided insightful commentary throughout the journey, adding depth to the already picturesque views.
The cruise lasted for the perfect duration, allowing ample time to appreciate each landmark while not feeling rushed. I was delighted to learn about the history, architecture, and cultural significance of the various monuments we passed. The experience felt both informative and romantic, making it an ideal choice for couples and solo travelers alike.
The staff onboard were incredibly attentive and hospitable, ensuring that all guests felt comfortable and had their needs met. The level of service truly added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
In addition to the Eiffel Tower, we cruised past other iconic landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and the Musée d'Orsay, each providing its own unique charm to the journey. The combination of the serene waters, the beautifully lit city, and the gentle breeze made for a dreamy atmosphere that I will cherish forever.
I highly recommend the "Vedettes du pont neuf" cruise to anyone visiting Paris. Whether you're a first-time visitor or have been to the city before, this cruise offers a different perspective and an unforgettable memory. Don't miss the opportunity to witness the Eiffel Tower's sparkling brilliance at night - it's an experience that will leave you captivated...

Read moreBeen taking this cruise on the Seine for 59 years (been to Paris on holiday 40 separate trips). First unpleasant trip. Might be an anomaly. 3 problems: 1. The announcement on the roof sign said (in French) "Next departure 18:45". We arrived at 17:55 so we decided to wait. At 18:45 we stood up near the entry gate. The ticket taker later told me that was a mistake, that was the summer sign, and in the winter the next departure was to be 19:15. CHANGE THE SIGN! 2. Thirty children - all about 12 years old - came up behind us, unsupervised. They were chattering in Spanish and began pushing past us in line. I'm an American as is my wife. I'm 72, 6'3 (191cm) 205 (94kg?). My wife is 6'2 and 220. I speak fluent Spanish. I stopped them when we blocked the row and said (in Spanish) "you don't have the right to push ahead in line" at which point one of the little girls (tallest person in their group might have been 5'6) said in broken English "What you said is wrong" so I asked "On what day IS it wrong? Tomorrow? Wednesday?" and they all shut up and stopped pushing. STOP ALLOWING UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN ON BOARD. 3. I am a native American English speaker. From a combination of the poor sound system AND the volume that it was set at and the poor English of the guide, it was impossible to understand the English (I understood most of the French but the sound system was terrible and since I've been on the trio many times, I know what the buildings are. FIX THE SOUND SYSTEM, TURN DOWN THE VOLUME, GET A BETTER...
