I appreciate that they are trying. Given the position by the Seine across from Chatelet, many a restaurant would just offer overpriced mediocre fare. We came here for an early dinner on a weekday and were told we can only sit outside. By the time we left, all tables were occupied, inside and out. We had six of the vegan dishes. They all came at the same time and we shared them. I'll go through them one by one: Fried Cauliflower Wing "à la coréenne" - heavily fried and full of oil; tasty, especially with the fresh cilantro. Pomme Anna & Kimchi Mayo "mille-feuilles" - this was the best dish, both the potato stack and the vegan mayo. Carpaccio de Chou Rave - on a giant plate thin slices of kohlrabi topped generously with oil and cashew butter and cashew pieces. Kabocha & Ginger - roasted squash, squash puree, this was another highlight although not quite seasonal; but one of the few that wasn't oozing fat. Pajeon aux Cébettes - korean-style green onion pancake; a bit sour, which cut from the heaviness but didn't really work for me tastewise. Portobello Katsu - I had high hopes for this dish but overall it was just ok. The six dishes were shared by three people. We barely touched the carpaccio but finished everything else and could have had more. A final word about the payment: they insist on doing it yourself with the phone, which for some reason didn't work for us, leaving a final bad taste on the entire experience.

UPDATE‼️ After the first experience, I didn’t expect much from this place. But to my surprise, as you see below, the restaurant reached out with a truly kind and professional response. They acknowledged the issue, took full responsibility, and handled the complaint in a way that was beyond what I expected. Their genuine effort to make things right convinced me to give them another chance - and I’m so glad I did.

We went back today, and what a difference! The service was extremely fast and caring (5-10 mns to bring all your plates!), almost like a red carpet treatment. 😍 The team was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything went smoothly. And the food? Absolutely incredible!!! Every dish was prepared to perfection, and the chocolate stick at the end was hands down the best quality chocolate I’ve ever had in Paris.

Merci, Bruno and Maslow team! 🙏

You turned a disappointed customer into a happy one - which is the most fantastic business performance one can have.

First experience: It was one of those rare, golden Sundays in January when the city feels light with excitement, and everyone is out on the streets in their best mood. Happy, content people everywhere in Paris, soaking up the unexpected sunshine.

We had tickets to Châtelet in the afternoon and thought, what better way to start than with a veggie brunch at this highly-rated place?

Big mistake.

The waitress made comments about why we were in a rush, and although we explained about the upcoming show in Châtelet, she just stayed annoyed, acting as if she was being pressured.

You know these types, right? The ones who look at you with that superior Parisian satisfaction thinking: 𝘐’𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺.

And she did.

We arrived at 14:10, and by 14:50, we hadn’t even seen an empty plate from our brunch.

According to another waiter, the regular food service time was 15 minutes. For us? 40 minutes of nothing. No food, no updates, just a total waste of time.

Since I had already paid and our show was about to start, we had no choice but to leave the restaurant without eating a single bite.

And the waitress? She couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no explanation, no offer to make it right—nothing. Just that smug look that said she was pleased with herself.

If making customers walk out hungry and disappointed was the goal,...

Based on the reviews, I expected this to be a wonderful experience. Sadly, however, it did not live up to the hype. Let’s start with the positives: the waiters were nice and clearly trying their best, the food was good, and we liked the wine. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. Firstly, the restaurant was clearly too busy. The waiters all seemed stressed, and it was telling that our first round of food took about 45 minutes to arrive, and that one of the waiters kept running into my chair. That leads into the second problem, which is that it seems that they were trying to make some quick money by adding a table in a place where it simply wasn’t supposed to be. We were in the way of waiters, and right next to a door which kept opening and letting the cold air in. It was drafty, our table was too small to place all the plates on, and to top it all off, I saw a mouse. They sound like small problems, and maybe they are, but they all added up and made our experience unpleasant. Finally, at this restaurant you receive a 1 hour and 45 minute time slot, which quite honestly is too short for a shared dining concept, and they don’t communicate this clearly enough beforehand. We were sent away when we still had half a bottle of wine left, and were told we could finish our wine on the terrace (it was about 10 degrees outside). Might I add, they caused our delay themselves by taking so long with our food and by making us wait in line despite our reservation. All together, it wasn’t a pleasant dinner experience, despite the fact that the food was generally good (although it wasn’t mind-blowing or anything...
