Gellért Hill viewpoint — Attraction in Budapest

Whilst the view is nice, the journey up was like slip and fall, or try your best... The view of the lady statue is hard to capture, unless from afar due to some barrier (construction perhaps?). But generally, if path up wasn't that icy, it would have been a good...

Miejsce, widać gołym okiem, często odwiedzane przez węgierską (i pewnie nie tylko) młodzież oraz "elitę" okolicznych dzielnic. Mnóstwo śmieci - widocznych jak i ukrytych(butelki, chusteczki, papiery, puszki i wiele innych). Podejście dla osób starszych lub lekko cięższych - może być wyzwaniem. Biorąc pod uwagę kwestię chodników dawno nie remontowanych. Wdrapać się warto - chociażby dla Pomnika Wolności. Widoki super i jeżeli nie chcesz płacić za wieże widokowe czy inne atrakcje pozwalające oglądać Budapeszt z góry - odwiedź to wzgórze. Możesz podjechać autobusami hop-off (widokowe autobusy) albo iść pieszo. Możesz też podjechać samochodem. Parking jest na górze choć płatny. Najtańsze pamiątkowe magnesy kupiłem właśnie pod pomnikiem. Nastawić się na duży ruch - nawet po 18:00 a może szczególnie po 18:00 :) Dla mnie - must-see...

It's located right on the top of the Gellert Hill, and the hike up there might appear challenging, but I strongly recommend taking it! The panoramic view on the Pest and Danube river is breathtaking- perfect place to take photos, relax and just enjoy the beauty...
