The walk up might be tough, but there are viewing points along the way. Once up there the views are beautiful and so calming. Unfortunately there were restoration taking place so could not go up to the statue. Was still worth the walk for the views

Beautiful view of the city. Maybe come from the parliament hill as the walk is in the shade, especially on hot days. Beware of the scammers playing the cup game. The two guys paying to play are part of the scam. Do not interact.

This is a great spot to visit in Budapest as the views over the great capital are stunning. Nevertheless, at the time of visit the Citadel was closed for reconstruction, which was less nice. Additionally, if you're not a fanatic of climbing, then getting to the top will not be the most fun, though I myself...
