Plaza Indonesia — Attraction in Jakarta

Mall staff is offering you unfriendly service! If you want to buy high end/luxurious product maybe the staff in each store/tenant is well trained and very respectful towards the customer, they smile and giving you hospitality. Unfortunately, the mall staff itself is arrogant, rude, disrespectful and useless! Staff only available on entrance/lobby, they're difficult to find because of the mall layout and because they only availabe on entrance/information centre (if you compare with Grand Indonesia or other 'normal mall' the staffs there are easy to find,because they are availabe in all floors/near escalators and elevators). I got an issues with my BNI ATM card and I seek for the staff assistance to help me report to the bank via phone, instead they said:' oo,if it's ATM it's none of our business, you should call the bank yourself, we won't call the bank for you!' I know it is not their job to report the bank, BUT I WAS ASKING IF I COULD MAKE A PHONE CALL FROM THE INFORMATION CENTRE!! They still said no and instead, The mall staff is direct me to 4th floors, which the bank is located (it's far from lobby FYI) and when I arrived there the BANK IS CLOSED! For the mall I can only said you offer the customer a facilities and ATM centre is one of them! You should at least tell your customer if the Machine is broken, mark it!!! Maintaining and checking your facilities is your responsibility for sure! Your staff is very rude? Why is that? is it because your customer is not 'rich enough' looking???! what a disaster! If you want but luxurious product I suggest you to go to Senayan City or Plaza Senayan instead! all the staff there is very nice to customer regardless of...

If you’re heading to TLScontact Jakarta for your visa appointment, chances are you’ll end up at The Plaza Jakarta and honestly, it's not a bad place to be stuck for a few hours.

I came here for my visa application, and while I was a bit nervous about the process, The Plaza itself helped calm my nerves. The building is sleek, modern, and connected to the luxurious Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia malls, which is super convenient. You can literally walk to either mall without ever stepping outside, a blessing if it’s raining or just too hot out.

The TLScontact office is located on one of the upper floors, and everything’s pretty straightforward once you get there. Security is tight (as expected), but the staff were polite and the waiting area was clean and organized.

After finishing my visa appointment, I had a few hours to spare so I explored the building a bit more. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby (perfect for killing time), and if you're up for a fancier meal or coffee, you can check out some of the restaurants upstairs or just walk over to Grand Indonesia. The area is basically surrounded by upscale shops, cafés, and amazing food spots.

The view from The Plaza is also a highlight. If you get a chance to look out from one of the upper floors, the Jakarta skyline looks impressive especially at sunset.

Overall, while no one really wants to deal with visa paperwork, The Plaza Jakarta makes it more bearable. Clean, safe, and connected to everything you need, it’s actually not a bad place to spend a few hours. Just come a bit early, dress neatly, and maybe reward yourself with a nice coffee or...

A cool mall to shop for all your clothing and food needs. There are super complete items sold here, there are lots of restaurants so you don't need to worry about being hungry when you visit here.

The parking area is available only for 4-wheeled vehicles, if you visit using a 2-wheeled vehicle you can park outside the mall building or what is usually called "Wild Parking"

Except for suppliers or online motorcycle taxis, 2-wheeled vehicles can be brought into the mall parking area, specifically in the loading dock parking area, entering through the door across the small river.

For suppliers and delivery people, they are only permitted to use the goods lift until 10 am, after that you have to use the emergency stairs. Imagine carrying so many goods on your shoulders you have to go up the stairs again, so if you want to deliver the goods until Don't come here later than 10 am.

And that's not the only rule, if you want to deliver goods after 10am then you are prohibited from carrying goods through the shopping area, so you can't push trolleys on the street in front of the shop while visitors are busy shopping. Oh, one more thing, all ojols who enter here are required to take off their attributes, starting from jackets, gloves, helmets, etc. So if you can, wear proper clothes even if you are wearing a jacket, because there was an incident where an ojol brother was detained by security because he didn't want to take off his jacket, apparently Oh, it turns out that the ojol brother was wearing a tattered t-shirt, that's why he entered the mall wearing a tattered t-shirt.
