PAUL Bakery Plaza Indonesia — Restaurant in Jakarta

This store located in level 2 of the Plaza, near the Kate Spade store and the escalator. The store is an open space store, with some tables near the escalator and some tables in near of the food display and cashier. It is a premium bakery store, with many loyal cuatomers. Beside the breads and cakes, the store also serve some main courses, although not many options, but this is a bakery shop anyway, not a restaurant. The main courses is quite delicious. I had a French Baguette and ask the waiter to cut them to be serve when I was dine in. They had it warmed up too. The only surprise was, they put the butter at the bottom of the cutted bread, We only noticed that there were butter provided with the bread when we were dine in after we almost finished the bread. The butter should be visible, so we could know there are butter provided along the bread. We also order Beef Burguignon as companion of the French Buaguette. The Beef Burguignon was so tender, delicious, with some chop carrots and mushroom and mashed potato. The black pepper is quite pronounce, but it was nice. For my taste, the mashed potato were too spicy (too much white pepper). The pizza was so so. I prefer the Pizza speciality...

Must try: Date Soft Bread: Bread nya soft dan enak banget! It with wheat four, sesame seeds, dates, and peanut butter(10/10) Spaghetti beef with sweet & spicy cashew nut sauce: spaghetti nya served with cashew nut spicy sauce and topped with Parmesan flakes. Taste kinda unique tho… honestly I’m not really fan of sweet spaghetti Prawn in Tomato and Basil Sauce: one of my fav! Its kinda sour! Prawns nya served in tomato basil sauce and jasmine rice. The sauce combine together, prawn nya jg well cooked! (9.5/10) Pan Seared white snapper with yellow paste sauce: white snapper nya lembut banget, yellow paste nya menurut Aku pas bumbunya, and mashed potato nya bener2 lembut and creamy (8.5/10) PIM’s whole cake: if you fan of chocolate recommended to try this! It’s with sable base, chocolate mousse, orange marmalade jam, chocolate sponge, and chocola glaze! Their using premium chocolate (9/10) Date Chambord whole: love the texture! White sponge, dates, chantilly cream, and crumble get perfect combo together ( 8.5/10)

Have been one of my most favourite joints when it comes to Bakery, Confectionery & Quick Bites - PAUL! Have visited almost all their outlets across Jakarta & Manila ! Finally took out sometime to jot it down.

It’s the finest French bakery in town, Pricing is a little on higher side however trust me it’s worth it. Items made are very limited, or to order right on spot maintaining its freshness and taste.

I’ve tried all tarts - mixed fruit being my favourite. Eclairs have tried all too & Strawberry/Raspberry my favourite.

Ham n Cheese Quiche, Tuna Croissant 🥐, Chicken Cheese Croissant 🥐, Mushroom Croissant 🥐 - All tried however leaving Mushroom would recommend all, Tuna being the best !!

Pesto Pasta is amazing as well !

Drinks - Cold Fusion Drinks & Cold Coffee I just found it okay!

Strawberry ……….. is a must try - You cannot be skipping this !!

Overall - Highly recommended place & My all time favourite to visit / order...
