What a beautiful museum! The entrance hall immediately sets the mood. The paintings on the first floor are breathtaking. I've rarely seen this level of detail before. The lightning in the exhibits were placed weirdly. There is no natural light in the exhibit rooms. It's quite dark and some details of the paintings get lost which is quite a shame. (We were surprised to see 2 paintings by Andy Warhol on the second floor!)

The navigation throughout the museum was also not that easy. There's no clear direction you're supposed to follow. At the entrance there is a souvenir shop with lots of art books. I thought most of them were stunning, but all of them were in Italian. Would've been nice to have some English options.

We paid 11 € in total. One ticket at a reduced price (4€) and a full price ticket (7€). I don't mind paying this amount for a museum, but do keep in mind that the museum is rather small for this price. I would recommend visiting this museum if it happens to be on your planned route for that day!

(Didn't attach any pictures of the works inside. You'll have to explore the museum yourself if you want...

This place is worth visiting just for the building itself. This is a really great gallery. Very varied exhibition. Also lots of artifacts from Pompei. The ticket is 7 eur, which is a really good price I think. I would suggested planning two hours to spend here. We managed it in one hour because we had a plane to catch but would have loved to stay longer and read all the information on the first floor. There were also videos of people who restored the exhibited artworks but they were in Italian only, no subtitles. Also probably the best bathrooms I’ve ever...

Dall’altro lato, però, siamo rimasti profondamente delusi dall’accoglienza.
