Avenue 273 — Restaurant in Sorrento

We didn’t often eat lunch while we were in Sorrento at restaurants. Breakfast was provided by the hotel, and dinner, well… Dinner was an affair. And so we always wanted to try out a new restaurant.

But on this day, we had been out early, so we needed someplace to stop for lunch.

We had seen Avenue 273 each day as we walked to and from the city center, and the food always look delicious.

Super friendly, unpretentious bar. Family run, Eduardo the manager and his team amazing service. We popped in for a late cocktail one evening and then used every night for pre-drinks and then a night cap. The team offering bar nibbles with a smile. You guys really made our tip, authentic Italian service at an extremely affordable price. Many parts of Sorrento can be expensive to eat and drink, often left with a feeling that they are doing you a favour by taking your money? We loved this cocktail lounge so much! The vibes and atmosphere were very inviting and relaxing. We came by for a drink but ended up staying for a few more. We had limoncello spritzers and then were recommended the Sorrento coast spritzer. Our bar tender gave us some complimentary bruschetta while we waited, which was delicious! We then tried a local Sorrento limoncello which we loved! (Best one we’ve had in Italy) Coming back tomorrow because we had a great time and enjoyed our delicious cocktails....
