Namba Parks — Attraction in Osaka

You know it’s hot when the pavement feels like it’s trying to high-five your face. So we ducked into this mall, and honestly—it was a revelation.

This isn’t your grandma’s mall. There’s a Marimekko. There’s a tent store that made me question if I should take up camping. There’s a rooftop park—yes, an actual green rooftop—with soft rolling hills that look like Teletubby turf engineered by an architecture student on shrooms (compliment). You can stretch out, snack, and people-watch while enjoying some skyline views of Osaka.

Inside, the retail vibe is way more curated and indie than cookie-cutter. Think well-designed home goods, skincare, cool outdoor gear, and fashion that won’t bankrupt you. There’s even a lush walkway several floors up—almost meditative if not for the occasional kid screaming about takoyaki.

Namba Parks is where smart design meets summer survival. It’s part mall, part hangout spot, part green sanctuary in a sea of concrete. If you need to beat the heat, spend money in air-con bliss, or just zen out on a fake hill while eating a FamilyMart sandwich—this is your place.

Would I return? In a heartbeat. Would I camp on the rooftop if...

รบกวนอ่านให้จบนะคะ ห้างสะอาด บรรยากาศดี น่าเดินมากๆ ค่ะะ แต่ 📌ติดตรงเรื่อง Tax free ที่ค่อนข้างไม่เหมือนที่อื่น หรืออาจเป็นนโยบายของทางห้างก็ไม่ทราบ เลยมาโน้ตไว้เป็นเคสที่เจอนะคับบ สำหรับใครที่หลงมาซื้อของที่นี่ การทำTax free ต้องขึ้นมาทำชั้น 7 ซึ่งพอขึ้นมาถึงจะพบว่าไม่สามารถใช้พวก Travel card ได้ค่ะ พนักงานจะโชว์แผ่นที่เป็นรูปบัตรต่างๆ ที่ไม่สามารถใช้ได้ให้เราดู แล้วให้เรากลับไปเปลี่ยนวิธีการจ่ายที่ร้านค้าที่เราซื้อมาใหม่

(1) *ซึ่ง ประเด็นความไม่พอใจและความข้องใจเล็กๆ ในครั้งนี้คือการที่เราจ่ายไป แล้วมารู้ทีหลังว่าบัตรใช้ไม่ได้ค่ะ โดยที่คงเป็นการดีกว่าถ้าเกิดมีการแจงหรือโชว์รูปภาพ card ที่ไม่สามารถใช้ได้ไว้ที่เคาน์เตอร์จ่ายเงินตามร้านค้าต่างๆ ให้ผู้ซื้อได้ตัดสินใจเลือกวิธีการจ่ายตั้งแต่แรก ?

(2) หลังจากตรวจใบเสร็จ Tax refund อีกครั้งจะพบว่าภาษีที่ลดหย่อนไปจริงๆ จะได้ราวๆ 8 % โดยมีส่วนที่หักไปเป็นค่าบริการทำ Tax free ชั้น 7

Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼✨ this is a gorgeous mall, it has a little bit of everything. Beautiful architecture, design, green areas, comfortable spaces, delicious food, drinks, a fabric store, and kids’ spaces like ‘Dadway’ play place, etc. anything you can possibly need you can find here. My family and I were going to visit for a bit and ended up staying all day! But my favorite part of all is the powder room located on the 3rd floor. It’s a perfect restroom for women and their kids. There are changing tables for diapers, toilet stalls big enough to go in with a stroller, hangers to place your bags or purses, mirrors, chairs, tiny toilet for kids, tiny wash area for kids, dress room, and beautiful design with plants and wooden decor that you will just love! I don’t think I’ve ever made a review for a restroom but this was over the top convenient, beautiful and purposeful.
