Lotus’s KSL City — Attraction in Johor

I having a very bad experience in this KSL outlet, there is no BIG SIGNAGE written there “NO ENTRY” at all the cashier counter, how we going to know we cannot go in through the cashier area? The damn Malay lady cashier shouting very loud at me “Excuse me, you cannot go in here!” Why need to shouting so loud to the customer? Why cannot just say: “ sorry Sir or Madam, please using the entrance to enter, you cannot go in through the cashier area.” You management never have any customer service training for all your staffs especially to all your cashier? Most of the cashier in this outlet are very very rude and no manner at all. You management if don’t want to let the customers go in by the cashier area then be professional putting BIG SIGNAGES WRITTE “SORRY NO ENTRY HERE” at all the cashier areas instead of letting most of your cashier keep shouting at the customers. Very very poor experience and very very rude staffs in KSL outlet.

Somehow why need to using cable tie to tie the customers bags? Your action makes customers feel bad and feel unwelcome to shop in your outlet. If you want to prevent any lost or stealing then you should upgrade your security system, not to put control on the customers. Your procedure makes us feel very inconvenient to shop. Most of the well known and big supermarkets (like Giant/Aeon/Ikea etc) for what I know is they never had this kind of procedure to cable tie customers bags. This is the first time I encountered very bad experience in Lotus supermarkets.

Not recommended to shop and buying in Lotus supermarket especially at KSL outlet. Will never ever return to this outlet and will never ever recommend for any friends of mine to visit in KSL...

Lotus KSL. Good location, but prices are not the same as the app and always higher and no discount for every single item. Could be a lot higher. E.g a broccoli in app is RM 1.79 but store prices is RM 2.69. almost the same price in SG. V-soy multigrain no sugar is original price but app show is RM 5.65 discount. Bun printed show 3 for RM 1.50 but store sell RM 1.50 each same price as SG of the 3 for sgd 1.30.

Not very big store. Thing can be out of stock very fast.

Although I come here every week. I like the app members for collect points and self check out counter and a table for packing my stuff after shopping with them. Which I really need after self check out counter payments and public bus to door step.

Always shop with caution. Pest 🪳 , mould food and expired food is very common here. Don't expect the same rules in Sg supermarket will apply here.

Love the locations from CIQ custom to door step to KSL public bus with RM 1.50 per way. Almost every ladies toilet very dirty and wet in this mall with no toilet seat cover of toilet seat. No toilet paper and no soap sometimes but still very busy mall alway crowded. Unless big public holiday...

As soon as u enter the basement car park, u r going to open ur window to press the buttons / tng for the parking, there you go, you will be welcomed with the KSL mall awful smell. I'm a regular visitor here, and this smell has always been there. Dirty, no regular cleaning is my guess why this smell persists. How to describe the smell - imagine a towel that was used for car wash with a bucket of soap water - now imagine that soap water was never changed and used for couple of weeks - yup, it's that smell.

Oh ya, never ever give ur car to the basement car wash. I collected the car and it smelled so terrible inside. I almost vomitted. I'm guessing the ksl smell got in while the doors was open during the vacuum process.

Now, other than the smell and the car wash horrific experience, the inside of the mall is an experience you need to experience. The mall is compact. The place is always buzzing with people. This mall is famous for its numerous hair saloons, nail saloons and massage centers. You will be spoilt for choice. In short, its a lady's heaven. They are cheap and offer good services.
