This museum is really informative and should be visited by everyone who has an interest in the history of KL. It really has an in-depth view of how the city was founded and thrived highlighting the contributions of the Chinese mining activities towards making KL the capital it is now.

For those who pray at or visited the historical Sin Sze Si Ya temple, it also provides a rich background to the main deities and gives an appreciation to it's history. In fact, all who visited the temple should also visit this museum and it's a bit of a shame that few do.

For me, it's really interesting that there are deities of local origins with temples all over the country when most usually originated in China and of ancient times. Given that the lifetime of the deities of Sin Sze Si Ya temple was not that very long ago, it's quite amazing how profound deeds in their time have led directly to the founding of our...
