Deeply disappointed.

Indeed this restaurant very impressive but with a set of poor customer service, all the small little things make the whole dinner deeply disappointed.

Food is good, recommended. Atmosphere fantastic, got its own class.

Bought an ice cream cake over for friend celebration. Mentioned is an ice cream cake. Pls put in freezer. At the same time there’s also another celebration next table which we both past the cake to the same person at the same time and I saw her secret recipe cake.

After dinner,

The moment I asked them to bring the cake out.. They put the cake on the table for me without any candle…?

I need to ask them to bring me the candle, I wonder it is necessary? Don’t you think it is understood that birthday cakes come with candle?

When we cut the cake, is HaagenDaz Ice cream cake, ( the ice cream cake is cover with a layer of white chocolate, ) The moment we cut, the ice cream practically just melt out, I’m like..?

I mentioned please put in freezer and guess what..

Lady staff told me their freezer temperature is different from other freezer, the freezer temperature is set for their beef/fish…

I asked again, are you sure you put in freezer? If like that I think your meat also spoil. And my whole Haagendaz ice cream cake was destroy!

They kept argued that they put in freezer. And don’t know how it happened.

Because it is impossible to melt like water if they put in freezer, which I suspect that they just leave it outside together with the next door birthday cake as well

Immediately I told them please put it in the freezer as I just want to “rescue” my ice cream cake..

After waited 30mins…

Not even single sorry, not even border to check my cake, not border to even ask anything ..

I have to go up to them at the counter and ask how is my cake? As it is an expensive cake and the way they handle is ridiculous! What I get is black face..

After 30mins at least the cake already solid and I just bring it back.

I asked again, now your freezer is working?

And Ika mentioned, next table also ice cream cake and their cake is ok? Give me an annoyed face.

I’m like, we both arrive same time, past the cake to the same person and you try to create excuse to cover your own mistake?

No initiative to apologize at all.

With this kind of customer service, This place just a matter of time soon going down.

With the same amount money spend for a dinner, better go elsewhere..

Attached is my cake that got destroy.. how not...

This little restaurant is tucked away at the outer part of Chinatown inside the Else Hotel. The name of the restaurant is barely seen outside the restaurant. Most people would have missed this place conveniently. It is such a pity. It was a pleasant surprise once you entered the restaurant. Although the light was dimmed but the coziness and its classy decoration immediately lit up this place! The wine bar was beautifully crafted with multiple coliseum columns at the background with it a cosy corner to soak in. We were seated on a table not far from the bar counter with a big ornament tree. The waiter was attentive and prompt. We finally decided on 2 appetizers and 3 main courses amongst us to share. All the dishes were plated elegantly and looking delicious and mouth watering. I especially love the beetroot burrata as the taste of the hummus with the right amount of ground cumin that elevated the flavor of the chickpea. The crispy prawn toast was yummy with the mince prawn paste and fish roe. Next comes the black Mamba. The combination this dish must has designed to tease one taste bud with the crunchiness of the raw bean sprouts, black squid ink rice married with the toasted sea weeds and flavored prawn topped with sumptuous light blended sambal sauce and a raw egg yolk. The chef has indeed created a dish that win me over. The gnocchi was another star dish with the right blend of miso butter and not too strong truffle oil, the creamy sauce made the gnocchi an unforgettable dish. The last was the restaurant signature dish duck leg. While the balsamic soya sauce was delicious, I found the duck was a bit overcooked hence it was a bit dry. Although a bit disappointed, the sauce mix was probably it’s saving grace. I like the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant with its chic, modern designs and its high ceiling. It is not noisy on a weekday. One definitely can relax and enjoy their delicious meal here with it’s reasonable pricing. It is a hidden gem...

Step into a culinary journey unlike any other at the Raw Kitchen Hall, nestled within the vibrant ambiance of the hidden gems at The Else Kuala Lumpur. Offering a creative menu bursting with new tastes and flavors, our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by attentive and friendly service, which set the tone for a memorable evening. The staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant dining experience was truly commendable.

What truly sets the Raw Kitchen Hall apart is its ability to infuse innovation into every dish though leaning towards the sweeter side. Each bite was a delightful exploration of flavors, showcasing a fusion of ingredients that tantalized our taste buds. While the sweetness was enjoyable, a slightly less sweet option would have enhanced the overall experience. However, there is still room for improvement from the chef, especially in balancing the sweetness to provide a more nuanced dining experience. Nonetheless, the freshness of the ingredients was undeniable, and with a slight adjustment, the culinary experience could cater to a wider range of palates.

The building history, the ambiance and interior of the Raw Kitchen Hall exude warmth and charm, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for intimate gatherings or casual dining. The fantastic design adds to the overall dining experience, making every moment feel special.

While our experience was nearly flawless, we couldn't help but feel that the background music could be enhanced. While hip-hop and 90s R&B are enjoyable, we believe that fusion contemporary jazz Indie lounge music would better complement the sophisticated ambiance of the Raw Kitchen Hall.

In summary, the Raw Kitchen Hall at The Else Kuala Lumpur offers an unparalleled dining experience where creativity meets affordability. With its innovative menu, and cozy ambiance, it's a culinary gem that promises to leave a...
