I had an incredibly disappointing experience at a kid's playland or kid's gym, which turned out to be the worst one so far. The atmosphere was unfriendly and unwelcoming.
Here's what happened: After finishing our dinner, my wife, who was pregnant at the time, needed some extra time to walk over to Kid's e-World. Meanwhile, our excited toddler couldn't wait to start playing, and we had some leftover food. To avoid wasting it, my wife decided to take the dinner as a takeaway.
Upon arriving at the playland, a Malay lady immediately informed my wife that outside food was not allowed. We explained that we weren't planning to eat inside, as it was quite obvious. Despite this, the lady kept a close eye on us, walking around and checking if we were consuming any outside food.
Wanting to make my pregnant wife comfortable, I found a suitable spot for her to sit, even though it was near the window and far from the cafeteria. However, our discomfort continued when the Malay lady from the front counter approached my wife after a few minutes. Feeling uneasy, I quickly carried our toddler back to my wife and asked if everything was alright.
To our surprise, the Malay lady informed my wife that she couldn't sit there. Confused, my wife asked for an explanation, to which the lady responded, "This area is reserved for people who dine in. You need to move to another place." Keep in mind that the place was crowded, and my wife, pregnant, needed a seat/space that was more spacious.
I inquired about an alternative seating area, and the lady pointed to the sofa at the back, where all the kids were playing and jumping around.
This experience taught us a valuable lesson: Never bring takeaway food to Kid's e-World. They will watch you closely, making you feel like a prisoner and causing...

The most amazing place for kids and parents.
View of KL Eco City & Klang River: parents could enjoy the view while working. It meant kids could play for 3-5 hours and parents would be able to get lots done.
Tables with adult chairs: meant parents could order food to eat while waiting for the kids. And kids see parents eat - they want to eat too.
Maze like structure: the kids loved to get lost in the maze and would kept climbing up the structures and moved around - like it’s their castle. Parents are able to see their kids from down below - and felt safer.
AFTER RENOVATION:
we had such high hopes!!!! we waited in anticipation ….
The view is GONE! They moved the kids structure towards the window. The kids aren’t going to enjoy the view! The parents would have to look at the kids structure the whole 5 hours here. That’s not going to happen.
The maze is gone: It’s become a smaller structure and parents can’t see where the kids have gone ….as the view are now obstructed by solid panels instead of netting.
The dining tables with adult chairs reduced and clustered together in a darkened area: The clustered parents sitting close together… Where would parents sit to work and to dine? We could do conference call before the renovation …. If we can’t dine comfortable - we won’t order food.
Big UNUSED SPACE: there are more space now. But why? To do events with clowns and gymnastic events? Dance floor for kids to do ballroom dancing?
We will miss coming to this Kids E Gym.. it was our favorite kids gym! We brought all our visitors from overseas here and they...
Read moreMany kids are left there by themselves, parents didn't even enter the play area. All kids should be supervised by their own parents. Some kids are just rude and bully other kids or running around/rough play without bothering other younger kids around them. The photos attached are the culprits of snatching toys multiple times directly from my 18 months old toddler hands and even asked her younger sibling to do so after she was told not. She started throwing balls at us when she couldn't get what she wanted from my toddler & loitering around my toddler after being pointed out to their ill behavior and even dagger stared at us the whole time. If these are your kids, please discipline them properly and not to grow up becoming bullies at such a young age. Pros- Ample space for parents to sit and rest, racks to put your belongings (foc) or even lockers(need to pay deposit); functioning cafe inside so you don't have to go out. Different types of games for children in such a small area. Cons- Not as spacious as I thought for the price. Things are worn off. One of the receptionists at the counter just forced a pair of socks (Rm5) on me as my socks don't look like a sock so as to what she claimed it just because it is nude colour and not thick cotton socks kind. No strict masks implementation, got kid kept on coughing non stop also can enter, just spreading...
