I had the melodrama queen and it’s lovely bitterness and a tiny bit of sweetness.
But I’m giving their service and efficiency a 1 star. I was wondering why the queue wasn’t moving quite as fast and I thought it was cause it’s just a lot of customers sampling the flavours but couldn’t decide which one to go with.
Oh, was I so wrong. As I approach the front of the line, I saw the staffs were serving one customer at a time and they had like 5-6 staffs behind the counter. They could have been serving 2 customers at a time, and whichever customer made a quicker decision after sampling flavours, they can go up and pay and move the queue along.
But since they’re serving one customer at a time, everyone else had to wait for their turn. When it came for my turn, one staff was scooping the previous customer’s order. And there was one free staff that could have come to help but she just stood there, looked at the queue, and then went back to try to look busy. So I just stood there, waiting for my turn to be served until the staff who was scooping the earlier customer’s order was free.
And that wasn’t the kicker. When I was paying for my ice cream, another staff at the register took my cash and instead of immediately returning my change, she was on her phone for awhile.
Whoever the training supervisor/manager is, you’re really bad at training retail management and efficiency. I’ve seen more crowded ice cream places locally that have faster customer turnover rate...

I had high expectations for this cafe, but unfortunately, my visit left me disappointed.
Slow Service The service was painfully slow, especially considering it was during dinner rush hour. While the staff were polite and clearly doing their best, the management is to blame for assigning only one staff member to handle the peak period. This lack of foresight resulted in long wait times and frustration for customers.
Overpriced and Underwhelming Matcha Platter
The Matcha Platter, priced at RM 88, was a major letdown. The only saving grace was the ice cream, which was decent but far from extraordinary. The rest of the platter felt like a waste – tasteless, unappealing items that failed to deliver any value or enjoyment. Comparatively, the nearby OGA cafe offers better options for a more reasonable price.
Drinks and Seating Issues The drinks were another disappointment – watery and lacking flavor. On top of that, the seating arrangement was both uncomfortable and awkward. If the cafe was aiming for a luxurious and cozy ambiance, it missed the mark entirely.
Overall, this cafe feels more like a poorly executed attempt at capitalizing on the Matcha trend rather than offering a genuine, enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality Matcha or a...
Read moreWent to Matcha Eight TRX with my husband, excited to try their matcha ice cream. We patiently waited in line — there was a couple ahead of us who were being served. It took about 5 minutes until it was finally our turn.
There were two staff at the counter: one serving the couple in front, and the other scooping ice cream. Once the first couple finished, that same staff member went to the cashier for payment — and here’s where things got infuriating.
Out of nowhere, three hijabi girls just walked straight to the cashier and placed their order, and the staff served them immediately. Both staff members saw us standing there waiting, yet completely ignored us and prioritized the girls who just arrived.
We were clearly next in line, and yet we were treated like we were invisible. Absolutely disappointing experience. Queuing properly means nothing if the staff can’t even manage a simple order system.
At that point, we were so fed up we just walked away — and went to OGA Matcha instead. Definitely a...
