A portion of the staff needs to not begin with an attitude when a client is in need of help when they are mentally and physically disabled. The manger is fair enough, but at the same time whatever time they say they close, if it’s 3 am, they want you in line at 2:30 to leave, same when they close at 6, they want you in line to check out at 5:30. After all the activities they have there, if you’re a chronic pain patient who sweats a lot, is on a lot of medications to look normal in your appearance of walking and talking- not feeling pain of rheumatoid arthritis ,you’ll be without medicine once a night of detox activities are done-retaking pain medications until in your house is best, taxi drivers can be tricksters or even rey to kidnap you for ransom if you’re remedicated and not paying full attention too. So no, before leaving in the middle of the night and having to wait on the street for a taxi because they want to boot you out the door before 6 am or 3 am, that’s dangerous. Because of my mental and physical disabilities, when detoxed, I’m slow to move and think and can be one of the last one’s out. Many employees have no time for that. They don’t even offer to help, they berate you and won’t even let you speak back without threatening to prohibit you from ever returning. I’ve been to saunas all over the world and this one does not care to ask a client if they are in need of assistance- if they are taking a long time to gather their things. After attitude has been given to you. They still ask for a tip because I was late to leave, I said for what? Not asking if I need help? Not being nice to someone clearly in pain, walking and thinking slow? Interrupting me when I could be telling vital information about why I am so slow? …I flat out said no, I tip those who help me not those who are rude to me. Other than that the manager is a great guy, fair but firm- he has to protect his job-he has a boss of his own and city laws about closing time, but they need an employee meeting to discuss dropping the sassiness first and ask if a client needs help before berating and chastising them, if the client isn’t in need of help, then the sassy attitude can be brought out. If someone were to be having a mini stroke and not know it.. being confused on how to organize their stuff for leaving on time can be a challenge..or they may not be able to even walk or talk.. and if things don’t change one day someone could be hurt and I’m sure they will make amends for this if they still are alive afterwards. Great sauna, great facilities. Everything you need, ,but they only have one sling, they need more. Be sure to explain to a manager on duty if you have any disabilities. It would save a lot of heartache and arguments from underlying employees. Still love the sauna… just this southern USA boy came to live here from a culture where people asked you if you needed help before throwing the...
Read moreUpdate 2, Pride Weekend Sunday check in, May 29th, 2023, and check out Monday morning May 30th, around 3 AM. I declined a gratuity and the 2 guys at the credit card asked me why. I told because I was recently over charged. The shortest guy with a silver necklace asked me why I come back. I said I have always enjoyed this place and he told me to “F off”. Owner needs do address this immediately. You don’t tell customers to “F off” unless you want another bathhouse in town. ————- Update, Pride weekend 2023. Saturday morning check out (around 3 AM), May 26th, check out May 27th, 2023. On check out, the person tried to charge me for a water that I did not have. My total bill was 650 for entrance and 440 on exit. After I told the person, I didn’t have a water today, he then told me I will be charged 200 pesos for extra time for the cabana. During this time, his coworker was going thru the signed receipts, none found of course! He said there is a 4 hour limit on rooms Just an fyi in the time limit for rooms. Check your bills!!!!! ———— Previous review When I left and checked out in the morning, person(s) tried to charge me over 300 pesos. I explained I only had a water for 40 pesos. Typically, I spend up to up to $100 on a visit on admission, lube, and poppers. I asked what was charged, but no response. Are the employees charging erroneous fees for themselves? Bill was corrected immediately with no dispute, Watch what they are charging you and dispute if necessary. I don’t mind paying more that Chicago steamworks,, but let’s ensure the staff is charging the proper...
Read moreOur cruise ship made a stop in PV, and we decided to go and give it a try. Needless to say, our cruise almost left us behind, we lost track of time while having so much fun. This place is awesome. My fiancé and I have been in other bathhouses and this one by far is the best we have ever been. The venue is super clean, the dimmed lighting is perfect making the place more passionate. The roof/bar/pool are a great place to hang out, take a break and meet people and chat for a bit as you enjoy a drink. The pvt rooms are cleaned and loved that there is a safe in each room. The jacuzzi is beautiful and water temperature perfect to relax. The music sound level was just right. We got a fantastic massage from Jesus, he was GREAT! We sure will request him again when we are back, soon! The only “request/suggestion”, which we have seen work very well in other bathhouses, is to have different color, type or size of towel to differentiate Bottoms, tops, and vers. It is not a deal breaker, but I think that would help everyone to approach the right person instead of guessing. Just a thought. We loved the crowd, we went during the afternoon and mostly were older crowd but heck, no complaints whatsoever here. We loved the variety of nationalities, guys from all over the world. Overall, it was fantastic. One question though, what day/night of the week is when it gets really busy? To plan ahead, if you know...
