Friendly service, even brought our food to us while we were sitting at the tables.

The food was amazing, little to no grease which made eating the food a wonderful experience.

Chips don't taste like they've been frozen and then fried up which is good. The wedges had the best texture I've ever tasted, right amount of fluffiness and don't fall apart.

Seafood Chowder has a great seafood taste to it, nice and creamy, and portion size is nice and big.

The milk and thick shakes were good as well, right amount of syrup and the right textures for both.

We chose to eat in, as you'd expect from eating in a takeaway store, nice place to eat in and get your meal down, nothing fancy, hard...

Ok wow. First of all, ring ahead and place your order if you’re hungry or in a hurry. We just randomly called in while visiting the beach on a spontaneous trip from south Auckland and waited almost half an hour for our order, but it was a busy Saturday night and we weren’t in a hurry. There’s a reason so many people buy from there, the food is epic! Tasty, fresh, packaged nicely….and for what we got, it’s a good deal! We could order half as much next time and still feed the family. We got two chook burgers, a lusty, wedges and a kids hotdog meal. Could have split the chook burger between two, it’s a whopper. I had to remove half my filling to eat it and still couldn’t finish it. Highly recommend! Also their kids meals are a good deal...

Updated review a couple of years on... This place has taken a nose dive. The chips have been soggy garbage the last few times we've been and there's little value for money with the increased prices. A real shame given how good is used to be.

Really delicious food, with proper fresh fillets of snapper etc., which could actually be distinguished from the other fish! Chips were very nice, good amount of crunch. Overall not too expensive considering the quality. The salt & pepper squid was surprisingly good.

Quite busy on a Friday night, would recommend calling in...
