Just a hop away from Orewa town centre and a few fries away from McDonald's, this beach is probably one of the calmest I've seen in NZ – like, seriously chill. No wild waves trying to karate-chop you, just peaceful vibes and soft sand.

Perfect for a relaxing swim, a lazy sunbathe, or even an impromptu therapy session with a seagull (they stare deep into your soul while waiting for snacks). Toilets are available – always a win. And there's plenty of free parking, so no need to practice parallel parking under pressure.

Great for families, couples, solo wanderers, or just people avoiding their responsibilities. You don’t come here to party, you come here to exhale.
