DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
Tony is extremely rude and has no care for customer’s experience at the cafe. The cafe was really busy but there are processes that should be followed to ensure a good and smooth service.
Tony sat us down but didn't return to take our order as he was too busy with himself bringing in more customers than the cafe could handle. He was unable to delegate tasks to other staff to take care for seated customers. There were multiple customers that were seated but none of them had their orders taken. Customers that have been seated should have first priority in being catered for but the staff have no sense of hospitality.
FOH staff just walk past and don’t attentively look at customers that would like their order taken. After 20 minutes of waiting I had to get up and ask for our drinks and food order to be taken. Our coffees came out on time and since it was busy we were expecting the food to come out a bit later than usual. Although 30 minutes had past we decided to be patient and wait a bit longer but then that 30 minutes became 50 minutes so I went to the front and asked where our food was and the staff said that our food order wasn't put through the system… so for 50 minutes we were waiting for nothing.. the staff said if we wait for another 30 minutes then our food would come out… I wasn’t going to wait 30 more minutes for food that would have come out 20 minutes after ordering … we told the staff we were going to leave because we had other arrangements to attend to they spoke empty words and still expected us to pay for the coffee which made me furious. They didn't offer us any compensation for our time wasted there.
The staff told Tony about our issue but he was nonchalant and said “if they’re leaving just let them leave” he didn’t come to us to apologise nor give us any attention. People like this should not be operating a business that focuses on...
Read moreI had an extremely bad experience today. Went in for brunch and ordered coffee which didn't take long to come. We then went on to order our food and waited 55 mins before I went to the front desk and politely asked John who was serving at the desk at the time - if he could let me know how far out order would be. He mumbled and rudely walked away to the kitchen. A few seconds later we were asked again by the waiter what our order was - no explanation as to where the food was or how long it would be. I said if the order is not already processed I would rather cancel. He then disappeared once again. I went back to the front counter and again very politely asked John if he had any feedback as to where the order was and again he was very rude, pointed at the waiter and said I told him to check. I said to him that he looked to be in charge and I would like someone to explain what had happened and once again with his rude manner walked away and said and I quote "these things happen". No apology no explanation nothing.
The cafe was not overly busy so I have no idea where my order was. An apology and an explanation would've been appreciated.

Read moreDisappointing Service - We were walk in customers and were seated at a six placed table outside. While looking at the menu another customer came in and I over heard a conversation about a preference to to seated outside.
Staff then told us that our table was reserved and asked us to move to a table inside. I took this information at face value and asked my family to move. I later noticed that staff then moved a reserved sign from a six placed table inside and placed it on the table that we had been seated at.
Clearly the table was reserved inside but the staff bent to the request of another 'preferred' customer and lied to us to get us to move to another table. I won't detail the condescending look of the customer that got her way, but it added further insult to injury.
We did re-question the waiter that asked us to move, but he stuck to his story stating that even the inside table was reserved even is there was no reserved sign on the inside table (Now that the reserved sign had been moved to the table outside). We later saw three people sitting on the "reserved" six placed table inside so I would assume that there was only one reserved table.
Two stars for good food, but customer service is a very important aspect...
