A pretty cool trail from Skyline base building to top of Skyline Gondola building. Trail is pretty overgrown, lots of felled trees to the right as Skyline doing their expansion (its a bit of a mess really!). It's steep, hard upward grind but a good warm up before doing Ben Lomond. Trail isn't well marked either, need to cross over the Skyline access road a few times, barely a marker around! Very disappointing that Skyline Enterprises can get away with this & not need to tidy up the felled trees. Also the customer service at bottom Gondola terminal was shocking (hence why I walked!). The guy on the front desk was rude, very unprofessional (in his service & his standard of dress, thought the would have a dress code?), his attitude was awful, lacked all customer service 101 attributes!! In light of no international tourists, they need to look after their locals, be kind & offer the locals discounts off their high...

This trail is very manageable and we highly recommend. The first 10 minutes of the hike is a bit strenuous with the incline but nothing to scare you away. The rest of the trail from there is steady and smooth. Don't waste your money ($40/person) on the gondola. There are many reviews that are quite dramatic and alarming and we urge you to ignore these and live a little. My wife read the reviews and got scared off so she took the gondola while I hiked up. I completed the hike in 25 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed it. I broke a sweat and considered it a nice workout. I wore running shoes, nothing special, and found it to be spectacular. Nothing to worry about whatsoever. My wife and I had a wonderful walk back down together and it was...

The guides were awesome. they kept us super safe and made it super fun the activity was awesome, all I'd say is you need to read the website well( or better than I did) it costs 753.00 for 4 adults to do the zip line activity but DOES NOT include the gondola cost to get to the starting point (alternative 700 metre vertical walk) gondola was an extra $64 each making this an $1000 activity. My advice would be to make a day of it by going up well before your booking time to take in the views and ride the LUGE ( additional costs). Otherwise, $1000 is ridiculous. As a consumer, I would have appreciated a bit more transparency, e.g, cost of activity with (gondola not included) next to it rather than in a drop-down menu that...

This is a steep climb through the forest taking around an hour to complete (and about half hour to descend). I would definitely recommend wearing proper hiking shoes as the lower part of the trail is quite muddy and the upper part can be very icy. The trail finishes at the Skyline lookout where once you have had a meal and thrown a snowball or two you can descend by gondola ($25) or back down the tiki trail.

Great time. The view from the tip was amazing and fun for the whole family. The gondola can be taken either way and is a great way to get some views. The luge is a classic and fun for kids worth the unlimited option. Depending on the age of the kids thebparents can take a break fro. The constant cycle and sit on te deck with a beverage of choice and watch them come down and head back up..a great afternoon..
