Skyline Viewing Gallery — Attraction in South Island

On our Australia New Zealand tour in 2012, the queenstown is the beautiful city we loved the most. We took a gondola up to the skyline viewing gallery. The journey in the gondola up till the gallery itself was scenic as the gondola slowly moved up through the pine trees. Once up on the gallery you are just stunned by the scenic beauty of this town, with beautiful lake, snowcapped mountains and green pine trees everywhere. Some paragliders were circling the sky over queenstown with there colorful parachutes.There is a cafe on the gallery platform. The Skyline Viewing Gallery offers a breathtaking panorama over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and – on a clear day – the dramatic Remarkables mountain range. It’s one of those spots where you just stand still for a moment and take it all in.

This is a viewing gallery on the Skyline resort in Queenstown. The views offered are awesome and picturesque in every season, be it summer, spring or winter. Staff deployed at various activities and businesses here are nice and welcoming. There is a café on site which gives a welcome break to all the adventure seekers.
