Teaser茶舍 Albany — Attraction in Upper Harbour

Very disappointing stop here with 2 young children who were obviously hungry and tired. I specifically said the food was for a toddler and ordered rice and steamed veges and some taro dumplings. The steamed veggies consisted of cabbage only, cut in large chunks (upon questioning their advertising I was told retrospectively they had run out of other veggies, and could only otherwise make some spinach). I feel like they could have been up front about this as I certainly wouldn't have wasted the money and time if I had known it was something my toddler finds hard to chew and also only one variety of vegetable. Also an environmental waste to provide everyone with take away containers unless specifically requested. Didn't try a drink, maybe this is more of a forte...

This place was not what we expected! My family and i had just finished dinner around the area and thought we’d get some drinks here. But, when we got there we realised that we could’ve had dinner here as well! although from the outside this place seems like it only sells bubble tea drinks, there was actually lots of food and snacks to try out! we got the marinated hard boiled eggs and the snack chicken. both were super yum and affordable so i think i’d come here for the food. the drinks however tasted really watered down and weren’t the best. If the service was better, I will come back. The milk tea is the best in Auckland and the most authentic in my opinion. However the service is not the best I have experienced. I mean since I ask a lot of questions that could be the reason why, if you don’t ask a lot of questions and want to pick up a drink then the service might be good for you. I highly recommend this shop, but I’m not coming back. I will only come back if the milk teas at other places are not drinkable.
