The Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic (Polska Filharmonia Bałtycka im. Fryderyka Chopina) is a prominent concert venue and musical institution located in Gdańsk, Poland. It holds a special place in the cultural landscape of the city and the broader Pomeranian region.

Polska Filharmonia Bałtycka im. Fryderyka Chopina w Gdańsku - zbudowana w latach 1998 - 2005 w stylu neogotyckim i modernistycznym. Mieści się w zabytkowych, przebudowanych i rozbudowanych budynkach dawnej miejskiej elektrowni na wyspie Ołowianka.

Patronem Filharmonii został Fryderyk Chopin, którego popiersie wykonane z brązu uświetnia wnętrze budynku .

Początkowo przez kilkadziesiąt lat była połączona z Operą Bałtycką. Ostateczne rozdzielenie filharmonii od opery nastąpiło w roku 1993. Funkcję dyrektora objął wówczas  Roman Perucki.

Filharmonia Bałtycka składa się z 7 segmentów, obejmujących: koncertową salę główną na 1000 miejsc salę kameralną (jazzową) na 200 miejsc dwie sale wielofunkcyjne foyer (sala wystawowa, 808 m²) hotel na 60 miejsc.

Położenie Filharmonii Bałtyckiej na wyspie Ołowianka jest niezwykle atrakcyjne- nad Motławą , niemal naprzeciwko Żurawia rozpościera się widok na Starówkę. Dodatkową atrakcją jest stojące obok koło widokowe .

11 maja 2025 o godz. 18.00 - odbył się recital Artysty pt. ' No, a ja ? "- nawiązując do wspólnego z Kayah  wykonania nagrania na płycie o tym samym tytule .

Dla podkreślenia - można było usłyszeć po raz pierwszy utwór z tej płyty z tekstem Bajora, a także z muzyką do tekstu Wojciecha Młynarskiego czy Artura Andrusa..

Recital okraszony anegdotami i historyjkami z życia Artysty - zabawnie i ciekawie.

Kilkanaście piosenek ( niektóre w nowych aranżacjach) wykonanych przez Michała Bajora przy akompaniamencie stałego w składzie zespołu 4 muzyków - to 2 godziny przyjemności, które minęły taaaaak szybko... Ale też i pozostają w pamięci na długo...

Recital doceniony przez sympatyków lirycznych tekstów i pięknej muzyki oraz kultury osobistej i muzycznej Artysty, będącym na scenie ... ..już 55 lat ! I oby jak najdłużej zachwycał nas " barwą swoich...
